Johnny's version has always been special for me, having been reminiscent of my then ex whilst we were apart, then played at our wedding, and now the lullaby I sing for our little girl every night.
While my mum in her last few months, I played this song with her again one evening and as she fell asleep one night, she held on tight to my hand and knew it would be a song to play at her funeral, and while Johnny's voice has a "time and place", this version is just perfect and was played as Mum went slowly behind the curtain
