That's the gold in the skit, that took me multiple watchings, before I had to shake my head, and rattle that nugget out. (It's like the reverse Bugs Bunny). Kind of makes me think, that Looney Tunes might have been, just as intelligent, as these great comedic legends became, (for their respective times).

The show's format was that one sketch ended and another simply began (sometimes two or more ending and starting seamlessly). There was no sign saying "Argument Clinic Sketch". They just did it. Consequently, when Michael Palin says "I'd like to have an argument, please", that alone would have been enough, had the sketch ended right there and then, LOL

Years ago I was taken to an improv class with a friend to try out for a day. I remember the teacher said a number one way for a skit to die is having useless contradicting back and forth banter because it'll eventually become boring and will go nowhere. Wish I knew about this skit sooner cause although it goes nowhere, it'll still give out a great laugh if done with great charisma and intention of back and forth bantering

However, I am a teacher and once showed the old version to my students and that part had the word "tit" in it. Now I could officially recommend it.
