The Titanic and Carpathia were really built by companies that were bitter rivals at the time of the Titanic disaster, but that sure didn't stop the Carpathia from making making an extremely mad dash to the Titanic's rescue. It's so great that the brave, generous, hard working crew of the Carpathia payed absolutely no attention to the White Star Line/Cunard Line rivalry throughout the time of that disaster since they knew that saving the lives of those in danger really overcomes corporate competition.
I'll always have a huge respect to Carpathia for picking the survivors of Titanic and for doing everything to reach them as soon as possible. A true hero.
And sacrificing so much for them too.
Carpathia deserves her own movie. She is such a good ship. She was also a Hero during her sinking, it’s if as she was holding on for as long as she possibly could to let every living soul off in time before she went down.
It's not fair that Carpathia is at the bottom of the ocean floor after her heroics saving the lives of the men , women and children of the Titanic. She will never be forgotten and may she & the five men who lost their lives rest in peace.
I agree, she wasn't even a war ship at the time.
I agree
I fear if she didn’t sink, she would have met scrapping in the 30’s.
@@HinckleyBranchRailfan Yeah like the Olympic did.
@@gtaitzhopefully some kid doesn’t come up and say “the titanic was swapped with the Olympic”
That's Nice That At Least One of The Single Funneled Ship's Not Just Helped Titanic Survivor's Out But Carryed Passenger's In Safety And Was Reliabile And Eventually Met a Sad End
She was so close to the end of the war, tragic. Hopefully she and the five souls lost can rest in peace.
I wish someday we have the resources to salvage all these magnificent ships from the ocean floor!
thats really nice! well done bro!
Carpathia isn't acknowledged much like the Titanic is. There needs to be more Carpathia videos for sure!
Great video, Blue! You really worked hard on this and it's great hearing the Caprathia's amazing story 🙂
Damn, this is very interesting.
At least Clive Cussler found it... R.I.P to that man. And keep up the good work, BSL.
*(He wrote Raise the Titanic, but hated the movie and for good reason.)*
I really enjoy these new in-depth videos, you go over almost everything about the Carpathia. Keep this up its fantastic
the animation is a nice touch to the explanation and helps people understand the information given as well
Glad you enjoy it!
Very nice❤
RMS Carpathia would have made a excellent museum ship.
They should make A movie called "Carpathia" and how it rescued the Titanic survivors
That’s was amazing
This is so well made! Keep the good work up!
Great quality and very well done. But if I may make a suggestion? You are attempting to tell the entire story of a ship in the same amount of time as it takes to listen to two songs on the radio. Many come to these sites for a historic documentary on these great ships which cant be done throughly in 7 minutes. Some may not even click on it as it appears to be more of an infomercial. Excellent job in every way but a longer, version of these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
I completely agree. Future videos will indeed be longer. I would have loved to have this one been longer too, but It was my first try at this, haha.
@@Blue-Star-Line You have a bright future as your quality and content are first class. Thats my only suggestion and I appreciate your response. Be well and definately subscribed. Dan
Love the new style of videos!
It’s me!!!
In all seriousness, thank you for bringing carpathia to life again
Amazing video, with amazing story telling amd animations, well done man!
Thanks a lot!
This was a great video, short and easy to remember, great job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Short and to the point. I like that 😊
Glad you liked it!
Amazing video BSL
Thanks!
It's so wild to me that this seemingly modern ship was built with an open bridge.
Nice to hear details about life or being a passenger on a different oceanliner of that era Titanic is so well documented but of course it was more of an exception being freshly made and built to take a lot of the wealthiest people, as well as steerage but was this typical of many ships? Probably not.
Please fo more videos about other ships if information is out there about them
yooooo BSL speaks!!!!
are you gonna do life of ships again
I wonder if You're the narrator of this video (Btw Great vid)
Yes, I am!
IF IM NOT WRONG, i think this game is called Virtual Sailor
This is very sad why? Carpathia is my favorite ship.
I love this video and the story it told. Just my opinion and thought, wouldn't it be amazing to see a replica of The CARPATHIA on the sea today? It can have the same features like the original but with modern navigation and safety equipment, or it can look a bit more modern like the Queen Mary2 or Elizabeth 2. What do you guys think about that idea? Please leave a like and comment for this video and my idea. Please, Thank you and Bon Voyage!

background music from transformers
YES! I was waiting for someone to realize!
remember me? lol
Hold up you said 15 of April is when carpathea got the distress but the early hours of the morning of the 15 titanic was gone it was the 14 lol that’s ok tho mistakes happen all the time
The Titanic struck the Iceberg at 11:40 PM on the 14th and sent out the distress signal out after midnight, which would make it the 15th.
So technically you’re the one mistaking. How do you not know this?😂
