I think after watching the first girl lifting dead lift is actually the worst exercise to compair strength because its a movement which yoi daily do lifting stuff if you are not a couch patato. And nobody of them looks like he/she is a patato they all do a little body movement for work, maybe walk, maybe little gym.so i would say the big girl will be higher ranked than she would deserve if they would do a full body test.

The guy on the last place i think stopped because at the 100 he was already moving in bad posture.

Ranking by strength is anyway hard power lifter as an example look really skinny compaired to big gym guys but they actually beat big gym guys. Anatoly is a good example. Big muscles means not strong it means muscle splitted a lot because of the way you train.

Yeah I agreed, I weigh 62kg at 5'7" and would have been second here, but they would have probably put me near the bottom. Additionally just using the deadlift is not a good way to test strength. It all depends on what you train, like squats for instance .

Deadlifting is a compound exercise which engages a lot of muscles, that's why they probably used it to benchmark their strength. It's way more objective than bicep curls, pull ups, rowing or squats. Women tend to focus more on the lower parts of the body - glutes, quads, while men tend to mostly focus on the upper body. The % of people who train everything is very small.
Deadlift is grip, shoulder, back and lower back and different parts of the legs depending on how you do the deadlift.
The video is already stupid because some use belts, others don't. Some use straps when others don't.. All those extra things add to your lift...

But engaging does not mean they are used to the full strength. Its actually a movement which you do more or less every day which will favour the heavier people more than the skinnier ones.
