      There is definitely one true God, and the way to Him is to believe that Jesus came in the flesh and died for our sins. He rose again on the third day, and ascended back to Heaven to His Father. 💖

    Revisionist history. The ecclesiastical courts were the only courts where a person was not subject to summary sentencing and could even mount their own defense.
    Not only were the ecclesiastical courts the only place a person had any chance of a presumption of innocence, but the church courts did not pass down death sentences and like I said tou were allowed to defend yourself.
    None of which was possible in the courts of the temporal lords.
    In fact all the modern ideas of rights and defendants privileges all come from the much maligned inquisition.
    Not one person received a death sentence from the inquisition. Those found guilty who confessed were not killed at all. Those who confessed but then recanted their confession or stayed back into.heresy were given back to the temporal lords to judge. It is they who passed brutal sentences. The inquisition protected those who they could feom the unjust temporal lords,.but they could not save everyone. I repeat the inquisition had no
    Power to pass a sentence of death. It would be against church law. Only the temporal lords did that and it was they who were responsible for all those deaths.

      Inquisitors killed and passed death sentences to all those were not for the RC.

    • @robertalpy
      @robertalpy Před 6 měsíci

      @warigiapurity8252 Not true. The Church never passed a single sentence of death. Only the temporal lords were impowered to do that, and they did not share power.
      The idea that the church passed ecclesiastical sentences on non catholics is also a falsehood. The inquisition was only empowered to investigate heresy. That is lapses of CATHOLICS. The confusion stems from the fact that they often dealt with lapsed conversos...converts. that is jews who.converted to Catholicism. So, not at all non catholics. Had they not converted, in fact, the church would have no power to investigate them. Though that would leave them at the tender mercies of the temporal lords who could and would exile or raise a pogram against any non christians.

      The Sanhedrin could claim that the temporal Roman governor is the one guilty of murdering Christ.

    There is a young fellow posting videos on the inquisition that claims the Catholic church was just passive aggressively trying to lend a helping hand to those that did not see Christianity under the Catholic narrative . Stating that the Catholic church would extend a polite invitation to join them with in a 30 day timespan (no pressure) so that people could sit about sipping wine and eating cracker while the church fathers suggest a different way of worship .

    From what I understand the term,”Confess the Lord Jesus as your Christ and you shall be saved!” came through the inquisition where people were held by officers with a knife to their throat and whoever confessed their life was spared or shall we say “Saved”. I also heard that Jesus Christ was a myth. This I now believe. 😂

    And religion is a force for good? Throughout history it’s always been used to prosper and conquer....modern times are no different, division is their aim, your with us or against us....total narcissistic sociopathic beliefs. If only each one of us could live free of persecution and harm, but the religious leaders wouldn’t accept it.....war and death is their concern along with control......

    What would Jesus do? Probably the opposite of this shit ! Way to represent Christianity as being loving and caring. Meanwhile Jesus was probably up in Heaven like: " Stop puuting words in my mouth! This is not at all what I meant when I said to "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR"."

    Technically, the Inquisition never ended. It was just renamed. I don't blame the one they called Jesus at all for the utter depraved wickedness of the Roman church. They'd still do it today if they could get away with it. And somewhere in the world, they probably do. When Jesus spoke of his father, it wasn't Yahweh. He spoke of the Creator of All...and that's definitely not Yahweh...also known as Enlil and possibly Marduk later on. If you read the Atrahasis and the Enuma Elish, you can connect the dots. Check it out. Look up the book The Stage of Time by Matthew Lacroix.
