Living simply is the richest and deepest life that I can imagine. I think people complicate their lives way too much and miss the joy of each new day given.
the cups are such an unusual paradigm to the choices we have in life. As a short and not such a brilliantly attractive person, i have never felt judged, neglected or dejected! let us see the cups for what they really are and embrace the beauty in each and we will be too busy writing poetry on the coffee rather than harping on the gold trimming round the rim of the cups. cheers to goodness and the wisdom of sages.....thank you for the beautiful clip.

I don't care what I drink my coffee in as long as the container is clean and the coffee hot and strong. I'm not caring about the negative remarks. Who cares what you drink it in...I just love my mug. The pretty ones can stay in china cabinet for guest.

My job is a street sweeper, i sip my coffee in an ordinary a plastic cup..i don't have stress in my job after i've finish my work 5am to 1pm..i'm going home to my family..
this is definitely so true.. the cups are things that we want but don't actually make us happy. for example, you may be jealous of a friends job, car, phone or house. you could save up money and buy the same car as them but once you've got it, you don't actually feel any better than you did before.

yes but we are not all given the same coffee are we...some of us are getting it cold, some are getting instant and some are getting it with cream and sugar and a bit of liquor. Yes, we should all be grateful for life but we are not all getting the same quality of life are we......Myself...I had never minded instant coffee but lately I have afforded some freshly roasted beans and I gotta say.... I sure am enjoying coffee more.
Because if we all had the same, we would be a communist country. We don't. We live in a capitalist country which revolves around money. You need it to survive and do anything. You wouldn't even be able to buy a cup of coffee without money. You can also donate your money to charity and building new schools to make other people's lives better. So the saying is wrong. Money does buy happiness, if spent in the right way.

They just can't see something beautiful and positive and make a small change in their hearts, at least! They are so ungrateful even to the Creator, that gave them the coffee, the life! They think they just like that are alive... Out of nowhere and nothing.... because they "deserved it".... Oh poor deceived people.... Their small and cruel hearts just CAN'T understand that The Creator, our God, gives the sun and the rain, and to the good ones, and to the bad(ungrateful) ones... We all got coffee.. Some of us better, some of us cheaper one... The happiness isn't coming because you have better coffee... But it is for sure coming if you know how to appreciate and enjoy the Coffee/Life you got!!!! Ever notice, that the ones who have nicer cups.. Hangout with those with also nice cups.. Those with ugly cups, hangout with the ones with ugly cups. Much like life, we all have life.. But it truly is, the 'nice' things that have historically defined your position in society and having choices to do things that allow you to express your life fully. That is why we all go for the nice cup. It may not be logical im comparison to the things that should matter but that is life.
I like to drink my coffee in a cup and saucer. I like ceramic cups. I don't enjoy drinking my coffee in mugs or plastic cups. That's how I savour my coffee. I give importance to little things to add flavour to my life.
If you don't have anymore coffee you are death already. For me , the coffee is the presence of God in my life, no matter what, I'm happy because the Lord is there at my side. I live with Him everyday and He fill my heart with joy and hope.

This did not really do much for me. Not sure if it's because my friends nor I would have would have gone for the fancy cups - too clumsy for anything fancy and it doesn't impress. But I do love Merry Dame's comment "Live Simply Love Generously Care Deeply Speak Kindly" - mantra to live by.
I usually pick a sturdy one, not the prettiest or best. I only do not want to spill it, nor break anything good. Just a cup big enough that I don't need to go back for more. It can be Styrofoam. (Plastic melts, puts out gases.) Disposable is good; it can be rinsed out to use again, but it's not indispensable. I prefer coffee to the cup it's in.
Facts should be accepted and its awareness must be with us through out our life But we can't overlook the fact that almost all of them have gone for expensive and beautiful cubs.So outward appearance counts in this material world.
Life is happiness every time in our world. Everyone have a special brain system. It is automatically operation by stop thinking. Just turn it on same as you turn off your radio, computer etc. The earth is the wondering world. You can see every thing but cannot think. If you think, you will wrong. You can touch every thing but cannot take it. Not angry, not hate anyone, anything in the world will be happiness. Put a drop of true love for everyone, every time. Our world will be full of flowers and beautiful songs.
Total life = inner life + outer life. Only after 2005 , the tipping point has been crossed by mankind. Hence forth inner life will be assigned higher weight than outer life !
Man should pay more attention to his own inner world than outer world. Here the basic tools are yoga meditation self awareness , self observation , self discipline...

I agree with most of this, but there is one line I don't quite agree with..It says the type of cup does not affect the quality of life, while referring to the cup as stated previously: the jobs, money and position in the society. But in real terms, it does affect our quality of life.. You'll see it yourself! But anyway, its always good to spread love! Peace!
