Hartenstein grew up in a small rural town in Germany which was known for its basketball club called „Artland Dragons“. Although currently sitting in the 2nd division they used to be an above average team in the first division in Germany. My hometown is just 30 minutes away and my brother actually met iHart during an appointment at the physiotherapist when he already played in the NBA. It was completely surreal. I’m Glad he finally found a team which understands what he can bring to the table.
It makes sense his dad is half german and half african, he's like 25% black 75% european. When you hear his voice though theres no doubt 🤣

As a MSG employee & longtime die hard Knicks fan(btw, since I was 8yrs.old/ 1969)who sees/observers IHart up close & personal at the Garden and I’m telling you he’s underrated & underutilized as a player. He’s a multi dimensional player who can be a contribution to the Knicks if he’s allowed to get more playing time.
