  • Using 3D printing technology, UConn Health researchers have come up with a new way to surgically reconstruct musculoskeletal injuries. Bioengineers in the dental school have developed a handheld device that uses a special “bioink” that adheres to the damaged muscle inside the body without the need for suturing - simplifying the process and greatly reducing surgical time.
