- We were just in St Kitts and wanted to find a great beach to go snorkel at, and my wife wanted to see monkeys.
We went to Shipwreck Beach after doing some research. They have a nice bar/restaurant with great food and cheap drinks. local beer (Carib) is only $3.
I was pleasantly surprised that they had great wifi, so if you're a digital nomad it's a great place to spend the day at and work on your laptop.
They have clean bathrooms and plenty of lounge chairs, benches, tables to sit at free of charge as long as you consume at the bar or restaurant.
you can rent snorkeling gear.
When grabbing a taxi from the cruise port the average cost is $28 for a group of 4. You will still pay $28 if it's only 2 people, so it's best to find more people to go with so it only cost $7/pers.

Thank you for this video! We will be there in April.. Not scheduling any excursions for this day and only really plan on going to Shipwreck's.. Lounge, snorkel, eat/drink and the main attraction for my husband will be the monkeys.. Hopefully he will see some!
Thank you! We got there around 10 am and there were a lot of monkeys. The place was almost full around noon and there were less monkeys a that time.
