- Wands can feel tricky! 😬 It's mostly coordination and you'll get it down in no time with a little practice!
I'm using a 1" wand from L'ange for this look: langehair.com/collections/bes...

Wowww thank you so much this tutorial literally saved my holiday thank you so much easiest tutorial ever ❤❤
You’re welcome! So glad it helped! 😊
Wow, this is the first (and only) tutorial that was both simple and effective!!
I was about to return my newly purchased curling wand, but now I'm so happy to keep it!!
I'm so glad it could help! Wands can be tricky at first, but once you learn how to use them, they are so fun!
I never twisted mine...so glad i watched this video. Going to try it !!
It’s a fun change! You don’t have to twist it, but I prefer to. I like the effect it gives and it also seems easier to keep on the wand without slipping around! 😜
Thank you, very helpful I just got one!
That's exciting! You're going to love it 😊 Let me know if you have any questions when you start using it!
you make it look flawless :) I'm new at this, after looking into wands I noticed they are sold by mm sizes... adds to the complexity of it all :(
Oh, you are too kind, thank you! If you are looking at mm sizes, I used a 1 inch wand which would be the same as the 25mm. You will get the hang of it, I promise! It just takes a little practice 😊 When shopping for wands or hair tools, just remember that the smaller the barrel, the tighter the curl. 1 inch (or 25mm) is probably the most common, but you could go larger or smaller depending on your preference!
Thank you ! Bought my first wand yesterday and immediately knew I kneed help 😭
You are very welcome! It does take some time to get used to it, but once you get it down, it becomes so quick and easy! You'll love it! :)
Perfect tutorial, thank you! ❤
Thank you! :)
Cute love it!!!
Thank you!! So glad you like it! ☺️
THANK YOU
Of course! I hope it's helpful ☺️
Thx
Of course! :)
You are so beautiful!!!
Aww, thank you!
No matter what I do or hold it my hair keeps sliding off its so frustrating 😤 any tips on how to keep it from sliding?
Without seeing you actually doing it, it's hard to say exactly what the issue might be. However, here are a few things to try that might help!
1. Take smaller sections: It may be sliding because the section you are holding is too big for the area of the wand
2. Try holding the wand at a different angle: The angle can help you maintain a firmer hold
3. Wrap the hair with tension: Then you begin to wrap, make sure you have enough tension so that it isn't too loose around the wand, but also isn't too tight to cause you to pull it off
4. Use a heat protectant product that has some grip: It might be that your hair is healthy and/or "slippery", so using a product that has some texture or grit to it can help give you more manageability when wrapping your hair (just make sure whatever product you are using has heat protectant to help protect your hair)
Hope these help!!
Do you need heat protection???
Any time you use heat, you definitely want to use heat protection to help protect your hair! 😊
@@renaematt Ok thanks
What wand is this?
I used a basic wand I got from L'ange a long time ago that is discontinued now. But the closest one to it is their Le Curl - very similar!

My hair can’t curl idk why😡😡😡
There could be several reasons, and sometimes it's a matter of trial and error to keep testing what works and what doesn't. Here are a few things to consider testing if you are having a hard time with it curling or holding a curl.
1. Products! You always want to make sure you are using some type of heat protectant to protect your hair, but there are also products that help hold the curl/style. Adding a product that isn't too heavy for your hair, but also has a good hold would be ideal.
2. Make sure your hair is completely dry before curling.
3. Take smaller sections when curling and make sure you hold it long enough for the heat to distribute through your hair (especially if your hair is long and/or heavy).
4. Consider your tools - there are different types of irons (such as titanium or ceramic) and that can affect how your hair responds. Test different types of tools and temperature ranges to see how your hair reacts. (My hair never holds with ceramic, but can last for days with titanium.)
5. Use a good hairspray that has a nice hold and once styled, don't touch it. :)
Hope that helps!
I wanna get rid of this. It burns you very very easily
Wands can be tricky at first while you learn the coordination. I've burned myself a few times, but it does get better once you get the hang of it! They do make gloves that you can wear to protect your hands while you learn this technique. (I believe my L'ange wands came with free gloves!)
