I remember when I said, this sherpa 450 engine is the beast RE has created, all Triamph and bajaj fans started making fun everywhere wherever I have put comments regarding Himalayan 450. Just because of the weight Himmy carries it takes little time to past those bikes. This sherpa engine may have vibration and little heating issue but trust me this is the beast when it comes to acceleration and consistency. I rode my Himmy 450 non stop 100 kms keeping constant 100to 120 kmph.

More than the limiter, we need to admit that the Speed 400 has a huge speed error. 161 means its actually doing around 145-147. RE's speedo is much more accurate, even more accurate than KTM. For example when KTM ADV shows 166, it is actually doing around 161-162. Bajaj and Bajaj related offering have huge speed errors, even TVS has massive errors.

Sirf engine powerful hone se kam nhi chalega, handling, braking and mainly tyres acche hone chahiye. Aaj kal 150-200cc bikes me bhi 140 section tyres dete he because handling, grip and safety is more important. 400cc bike me only 140 section tyre dats stupid.😂 Only bajaj can do this kind of compromises to bring down the price.😂

Tachimetro della Guerrilla pressoche reale al vero. Anche Triumph quasi reale, anche perchè la sua velocità rispecchiava l'andatura in terza posizione. La Pulsar ha il tachimetro nettamente sballato, segnava 10-15 km in più rispetto al Guerrilla.

Go for the smaller sprocket if you want more top end. Triumph s400 already got significant speedo error so after the mods the error will be more, till there will be improvement of 7-8kmph + in top end.

Better quality tyres, better tuned suspension, tft color display, broad tyres , bybre brake calipers, better performing engine, looks are subjective but i guess guerilla will grab more attention on Street coz of ducati scrambler like design and broader tyres where as ns 400 has same ns 200 ddesign with skinnier 140 section rear tyre so extra 80k is welljustified. If someone is tight on budget then ns 400 is a good choice but if someone can spend some more than guerilla will be the best option under 2.99 lac now. .
