Hope you all enjoy this video of my friend/ coworkers massive collection of first gear trucks.
This video isn't like most first gear videos. These are display only. This is a show and tell video. Still just as good, and there are many really cool and rare trucks here.
These are not mine, so if you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them, or I'll ask my friend.

Beautiful collection! I still have a couple trucks like those I purchased years ago. Unfortunately most of the tires and various parts are missing thanks to my kids playing rough with them.

WOW... what a collection!!! Kenny, I'm amazed that these First Gear trash trucks have such a wide appeal. Even for people like me whose only connection to the waste industry is hauling our trash cans to the curb for collection! I have probably 150 or so First Gear models of various types and makes of trucks. First Gear makes awesome models and I"d be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to put on some cotton gloves and play with one of my Waste Management models!😊. Love the display cases, too! Thanks for sharing!

I happen to be the person to acquire for the city of Albuquerque the garbage truck you have as a retirement gift for our drivers. I also happen to have the prototype model for acquisition along with the schematic layouts of the initial 440 unit run. As you know, the COA front-loader is one of the more popular First Gear sanitation trucks I’m very proud I was able to acquire this unit for our employees in 2004.

There was quite a riff from side loader drivers when a “commercial” vehicle was chosen for the production. Division rivalries at their best ;)

I like those cabover garbage trucks. The real ones including fire trucks, yard spotters, concrete pumper trucks, street sweepers, & a few other kinds of straight trucks are the only cabovers I see on the roads here in the USA🇺🇸 nowadays unlike back in the 1980s & down when cabover fifth wheel semis were common.

Kenny, where did you get the barrels shown in your Mill Valley truck?? I would love to get my hands on one! I just got a Barone REL For Christmas. Wondering if it’s a rare one or not.

Damn! Your coworkers got one hell of a collection! I gotta say, my favorite was defiantly the Mill Valley Refuse rear loader, with the shoulder cans in the back! Do you happen to know where he got those mini shoulder cans from? As always, great video!
Hello, go to granite state collectibles. Ask for Bob. He can make those cans for you. They are very real and cool. Displays well with the 1/34

Hello, and thank you. Finding those Republic side loaders is very hard to find. Keep checking ebay. Usually if one shows up it goes very fast!!!

Is there any difference between the 2014 and 2020 Republic Services front loader truck?
Where did you get the allied waste and republic services trucks eBay? Because I couldn’t find any of them.
Those allied and republic trucks come up on ebay from now and then. The Red Republic Trucks however are extremely rare. These are super hard to find...

Hi, thank you. I have bought these throughout the years. A lot of these I got these early in the years so I was able to get these a a good price. These are all fairly rare now because most of these truck were not mass produced. This means not many were made which makes these trucks rare.....

Hi Carlos. Those 2 trucks come from Australia and are extremely rare!! They made less than 500 each. I think the new Cleanaway was 300. That's a very low price. Look at ebay put in first gear garbage then go to sold items. You will see they go for far more than that... just saying

Those cleanaway trucks I got from ebay a long time ago. I do have another new logo Cleanaway brand new in the box that I may consider selling for the right price. Those trucks took me a long time to get the complete set..
I do have 2 of the roll off cleanaway. May consider selling, again for the right price.

Hello, no I don't. I usually collect first gear production trucks. I don't think GfL had any done . Just custom.

@@KennysTrucks Yeah i totally get it I have seen your collection you have a WM Mack MR Front loader Old style a WM Heil Mack MR Python side loader old style A WM McNeilus Rear loader Mack MR Old style and a Mack AW (Allied Waste) Roll Off. But I get Most people Keep them For display. In the future I probably get a self like that in the video. If You want to see my First gear Stuff/All my Republic Services stuff and my carts and mini bins I’m going to make a video of all that stuff later when my recycle carts come. If you just want me to tell you what first gears I have Just ask.
