Absolutely disgusting behavior from you two
How do you think it's acceptable to move on to a 24hour mooring spot on one off the most in demand moorings in the country. How many other river users have you deprived of the privalage of using the Meadows. Surely bun head earns enough to pay for a mooring like everyone else. Even more insulting there's two marinas within an hour. Both with space. Honestly you have no shame
Use "painters tape". It's designed for clean release even days later. It's typically bule or green in color
Painting in New England was a pain this year too. Lots of rain. I had to do wood stain outdoors, and had issues with weather all summer. Not a great year for it in either New or Old England it seems.

Hi guys, what a task you've set yourself for this time of the year. Obviously you've got to get it done before the onset of winter and Alba will look fantastic again once it's completed. Ironically, Marina, the very tape that you needed was the masking tape that the sealing guy was using and, if you'd offered to buy a roll off him, he would have, probably, given you enough to do your job! Good luck with the other side, look forward to seeing the results. 😄😄

I’ve watch your videos over the years and appreciate all your work and the lovely way you communicate with us . Painting a boat is no easy task and Marina you show us how responsible you are in doing this. This is the first time I have seen any mean and rude comments. I hope you don’t allow that to spoil your day. Both of you radiate light and goodness. We love your vlog with its joys and struggles , so honest ! We can’t go back to boating but enjoy it through you. We live in a beautiful part of the world in South Africa right near the beach, yet we do miss the canals .

Hi Cruising Alba. Great vlog. I see that you are doing exactly what I have been doing this year, and that is painting the exterior of your boat. Could not help seeing the difficulty, when you were peeling of the masking tape.
On my boat when I was painting the coach lines I used frog masking tape, low adhesive but good sealing properties to stop paint bleed. Plus comes off without the need for a hair dryer. Just a little pointer when pulling masking tape off, always pull of with a 45° angle. I know that you may have completed your painting by now but only making the suggestion for future painting.

Everytime i pick up a paint roller it rains on me too i feel your pain 2 weeks grinding down the boat paint 1 coat it rains on me hahah all good tho part of boat life i suppose happy floating

My dog ate paper and later had to have an operation to unblock her intestine. Paper takes ages to break down.
Remember next time to remove the tape immediately after you have painted. Don't wait until the paint has dried.

Just think it's disgraceful what these two are doing spending a year on 24hour moorings. That are some of the most popular moorings in the country. So selfish and wrong. Then they begging the public for money. People have a right to no how unacceptable their behavior is. I've seen these two many a times from the Grove to the Thames. Most of the time over last few years the boat is locked no one there from one week to the next. The Mrs don't think they live a board just. Pretend for views. Anyways if you think it's acceptable to moor your boat on a 24hour mooring for a year. You just as much a fool as these two.
