In our China vlog series, we'll walk around Shenzhen's most beautiful park: Lianhuashan Park/ 莲花山公园
Lianhuashan Park provides the best viewing point of downtown Shenzhen. Every Friday and Saturday the CBD (Central Business District) area below would play the famous Shenzhen light show.
We'll also see the modern CBD area of the city.
Shenzhen is one of four tier-1 cities in China along with Guangzhou 广州, Shanghai上海 and Beijing 北京. Shenzhen 深圳 is the 3rd largest city in China in terms of population and 3rd in GDP ranking.
Shenzhen has a very short history of a mere 40 years. Yet it managed to become a world-famous metropolis from a tiny fishing village.
Today, Shenzhen has been dubbed the Silicon Valley of China. This is because Shenzhen is known for its technical innovations. Many famous high-tech brands call Shenzhen home. Brands such as DJI, WeChat, Alipay, BYD and NIO.
We saw two robots roaming the streets.
Shenzhen at night is even more amazing. Skyscrapers draw new Milky Way across the sky.
