Wanted to add- the parfait chunky is a lot smaller than Barnet Blanket. Your projects will be smaller unfortunately but in my opinion, they turn out softer and cuter. I personally recommend a 5.5-6 hook for parfait chunky!

Love your work... and to answer your question about the center Pull or outer pull I do both. To be honestly it depends on what kind of yarn I'm using. Some yarn has major yarn vomit when pull from the center.. an I so dislike untangling darn varmint

I crochet on my treadmill too! I can't walk really fast but still 😂
I have a bowflex tread and it has that big tray too which makes it so much easier. I put a board across the front though too to help hold the projects.

I’m trying to learn how to put tutorials up for crochet. I have a few shorts but it isn’t much as I just started. I also don’t know how to allow comments lol . I love your work
Watching this while I am work and i have gone through several stages of I like crochet, do i want to crochet, i should learn how to crochet to I can crochet while i am at work with nothing to do. I have come to a compromise. I will buy a beginner crochet kit that everything i need and then go from there. Congrats on 1k subscribers.

Inside pulling, but your hubby can make you a yarn holder like dowl to place on a stand like toilet paper roll. Spin off without loosing it. Fyi.

I always crochet from the outside, unless it is my only yarn in that color and I get halfway through a jellyfish before deciding to make the tenticles, in which case, I double dip 😂 - crocheting from the end while main project hangs off the front lol

i roll all my yarn into balls before using because i like to look for manufacture knots. but when i do i pull from the middle as a roll them.
I usually start from the outside if the lil tail is hanging out because if i try to find it i end up meszing it up. If there is not lil tail i start from the inside even if i like outside better.

You should try out Michael’s yarn similar softness to premier yarn, but same size as Joann’s blanket yarn. I tried premier yarn but it’s pretty thin but love the color options. 💕💕

Parfait Chunky really should be labeled a 5 weight. Premier is what I use the most and I love it, but it is about half the width of say sweet snuggles lite and most people don’t know that the first time ordering. That being said, the Parfait XL IS comparable to sweet snuggles or chenille home (the 7 weight versions).

That's a great idea! working out and crocheting. Hey listen, no hate!!, but I have TIP FOR YOU! Take your hook and stick it in the middle of the yarn skein, out the side you know? and just pull the end out in the middle!
I used to do it the same way as you and got frustrated when I tried doing it the other way because I would accidentally pull out to much or I didn't put my hook in the center enough and I would make a mess. Now I use my fingers and yank out a bunch from the middle and giiiiirl! IT IS SO MUCH EASIER NOT HAVING TO TURN THE YARN OVER EVERY TIME I NEED MORE! and ooooh look for those portable yarn bowl things! Its Not A bowl.. but its like a pouch with a zipper on the side and its got a hole at the top and a handle so you can feed the yarn through the hole, zip it up and crochet on the go!!! I hang mine on my chairs, side of my desk and work bike. Bruuuuh and mine is pink lol. I bought it for $2 on Ali express. I love it. I love all the yarn hacks!

If you wait till after Christmas, you can stock up and use it for stuffing! I was so excited when I heard about it. Also, cheap ass Walmart pillows. Lol Happy hookin!

It’s a significant difference when worked up! I used bernat blanket because in Canada it’s more accessible and all my stuff ends up super large compared to the patterns 🤣
