- Skooly came through for his first-ever interview with VladTV, and he spoke about growing up in Atlanta and getting a buzz in the city as a teenager and later forming the group Rich Kidz. After speaking about the group disbanding, Skooly was asked about his good friend Bankroll Fresh being fatally shot, which he declined to speak about. Moving along, Skooly addressed an article pinpointing him as changing the current sound in Atlanta hip-hop, which he agreed with, and he spoke about linking up with 2 Chainz and signing to his TRU label. I taught him in 11th grade. He was funny, very likable, and focused on his music career. He was a pretty good student. Glad to see that he is continuing his career in music. BTW I told him back then to be careful with those contracts and not to give up his publishing.
