Late 90's I was a teenager bought me a 83 coupe d'elagance started working on it. 13" D"s then 20" center gold. Unfortunately I was on my street shit and it got stolen found it shot up and burnt, nothing was missing out of it. STAY OF THE STREETS.

Really nice whip my man! Love the air suspension setup! I've been a lowrider enthusiast since the 1980's, my motto, "If it has wheels, drop it"! I love hydraulics, but certainly understand why hydros might not always be the best route for every build. Not sure why some folks would downplay airbags. As a lowrider enthusiast, I feel that most of us would like to get low however you can, especially when you are able to adjust your ride height on the go while cruizin'! We all love low and slow, so we should all support each other! I will be bagging my daily driver this summer and can't wait to get the project going, just waiting on my new rims to come in first. Shoutout to all my lowriding brothers and sisters out there!
Fyi, If you want to avoid any issues with your tires rubbing your fenders when your dropped low, and don't want to cut your fenders, you can have your fenders "rolled" with a fender rolling tool. (this will give you a little more tire/fender clearance), I had it done to my car to get ready for the air suspension. Keep grinding homie! Peace!😀✌🏼

I just got a 83 Coup, thing's still sitting at my Tio's. I'm trying to learn all I can about restoring it, and I appreciate the content.

@@OneManClickafacts homie cuz with my whip I ended up having a oil leak that developed after a while but I put it off for a couple weeks and got the wire wheels first but I finally got to it today lol

Look into an engine driven compressor. I had one in my 2003 S10. It would fill up my 12 gallon tank in less than a minute. And I ran 1/2" valves for up and 3/8" valves for down with silencers on it.
I'll definitely look into the imbibe drive compressor and I'm running 1/2 on everything at the moment thanks for the info homie

Hydros are a lot more fun to play with but they are higher maintenance AND you need to hack up your ride to install them. That being said, team bags! I’d put hydros on the gold one since you already have a ride with bags.

You'll get it homie everything takes time
Put the solenoids closer to the front bags for it to go faster and then put off some ball valves from the tank to the hoses running to the front

I’m OG reds hydraulics in all my rides. I went with airbags for my 77 c10 stepside and I love it ❤. They both have their advantages but I love the smooth ride riding on air 👍🏽

for the 13s, i know you probably had to shave the calipers a tad up front, did you also need spacers too?
i didn't have to shave anything thankfully but i did have to use spacers
@OneManClicka oh, so its one of the other. Personal preference, i guess. What size spacers did you use to clear the caliper?
@CampfireTalesYT not really on the personal preference I just didn't have to on this ride, it varies on the vehicle same goes for the spacers just depends on the ride

No problem I went with 10.5" in the front and 12.5" in the back homie
I think u should keep that switch box have you tried three wheeling on bags
I'm debating on the switch box ionly use 5 of the switches and can't 3 wheel with airbags homie plus the frame has to be reinforced in order to do so
@@OneManClickabuilt a 59 Chevy 4 door with a buddy, could 3 wheel it on bags . 13x7 wheels, could hop too

Hey man, love your car. I just got a 92 fleetwood brougham 4dr. I like what you said about bags vs hydros, thats what im looking for. I want something that reacts quickly, something to almost make it hop. Where im from car scene is rough, and i have no resources. Would you mind giving me advice on a good and easy to instal kit? Last thing, do you need to run shock absorbers still? Thanks man, hope to here back. Again nice ride!

@albertalfrido699 no problem homie most basic set ups should do the job the place I got mine let's you put in the make and model of the car to give you the right set up

Air was always better in my mind. Hydraulics I would only do on a show car, to take to car shows and with flame throwers on it too.

Put a York compressor on the car

@@OneManClicka for sure homie, just for reference your compressors put out about 3-4 cfm (cubic feet of air per minute) on a good day. A York compressor runs off your cars engine and can put out 8-10 cfm at 1200 rpm . Your tank is too small , look at the size of your tank and imagine your bags fully expanded, all that volume is probably 2\3 your tank. You have two options, get a bigger tank or add two smaller tanks on the side. You should have a minimum of 20 gallons for a car that side BUT , if you just run electric compressors you're gonna have to wait forever to fill that much space so back to my point of a York compressor.

Since I drive truck, I live with air suspension every day. Ill do air over hydro any day....as a daily.
