Hi, great video. My plug looks the same and calls for a 2 7/8" hole saw which appears to be very difficult to get hold of other than online. Just curious how yours fitted with the 3" hole? Cheers!
I bought a multi blade whole saw kit on Amazon and 3inch fit over mine perfectly. I’m sure different manufacturers are going to be slightly different sizes…I personally don’t use whole saw blades very often but if memory serves me I think the multi blade kit was similar cost of buying a single blade.. good luck and thanks !!!
I didnt see that you have your 120 grounded to the frame. If you plug in to a source that has an improper ground your trailer could have a deadly hot skin situation if it isnt grounded to the trailer frame.
You need stranded wire and definitely don’t want to back stab those wires. Solid wire hooked to the screws will vibrate off. Stabbed wires are much worse. Get stranded wire because of it being mobile.

Ur interior seems done decent. I won't stick with that and outsource the electrical. Outsource electrical? This build is nearly 2 yrs old, this trailer has been up and down the east coast. We have had it plugged into different power sources with zero issues. Not sure why someone saying they are not an expert would spook you. Maybe you would be better off purchasing an rv already slapped together by one of the many manufacturers out there. Good luck!!!
You’re gonna have to explain why you would say that…this trailer has been used for a yr and a half with absolutely no issues…unless you are planning on lighting it on fire …thanks for the heads up…we have no worries!!!
I am not an electrician but have watched many videos on improper grounding.... I believe that your grounds need to pigtailed and attached to that metal box to prevent energizing that metal box in case of a loose hot wire coming in contact with the box.....
You are stripping to much insulation off the end of those wires for the wall plugs. Past the screws there should be no bare wires showing so that when you push that wall plug into the wall box housing none of the wires will short out against each other...
Thanks for noticing… I can assure you the 1/8 “-1/4 of bare wire does not touch…probably due to the fact that these wires are not just flopping around, they are fastened to the outlet… and in the event of a short I’m thinking the breaker should trip! Thanks again
@@selecttunes3051 I've seen many a time when the breaker DID NOT trip ---- poof goes the house. Lack of proper training and/or education like this could be real costly to someone..

@@cjhan47 ok it is 1/8 of an inch of exposed wire… what exactly do you think is going to happen there? This is not a loose wire . There is absolutely nothing anywhere near able to touch it.

You are correct …the system is grounded to the frame…unfortunately did not show on camera.
Any reason you didn't run a 20amp breaker for the AC? You're running 12/2
I guess I didn’t think it was necessary…what other then 12/2 should I have used?
20 amp = 12/2
15 amp = 14/2

I'm no expert but I don't think that solid core wire should be used on mobile applications, it can break with vibration .

@@selecttunes3051 Sill, you run the risk of fire the way it is. 7:43 the stripped wire is well out of the screw.
