Hey man, I been watching your videos for a while now. I love Japan and I love the fresh perspective of the place that you bring through your videos.
I’m curious about how you’re able to randomly park almost anywhere, even if it’s for a little while. It’d be great if you could give those insights sometimes as you drive. Other than that, keep doing what you doing, and thanks for all the hard work🍻
On the streets, some times it’s not allowed but we just park anyways since we get back so fast that there is not enough time for the parking guys to cut you a ticket. And they do let you off the hook if you come back before they actually stick the violation sticker on your bike. For the sidewalks, usually a moped is treated the same as a bicycle (2 wheeler) so it’s not a problem to park(in most cases)

Interesting situation. I was going to ask you if you had ever had a customer delivery where the customer did not receive what they ordered and what would be the process for resolving this. Seems to me, the merchant should pay Uber extra to deliver the missing item to the customer and the merchant should somehow compensate the customer. Complementary dessert, drink, entree? Or credit towards the order in the amount of the missing item (in addition to delivering the item missed) ? UberEats nor the delivery driver is at fault and should not be blamed IMHO. Merchant is totally responsible and has to rectify this to the customers satisfaction or get out of the business for poor customer service.
I’m not 100% sure, but if there is a missing item that order will be treated as cancelled and the merchant will not receive the payment for that order. That’s why some merchants double check in front of us to avoid such a situation. I totally agree with what you are saying and I think your suggestions are a good ideal to raise the customer satisfaction👍 but until Uber comes up with a better system, I guess drivers need to be more careful😓

McDonald’s staff here do a pretty good job. Also, the major franchises usually have good packaging. It’s the local/independent merchants that we have to be careful about here in Tokyo…
