You can also find good information on long range loading for accuracy on the Sniper's Hide forums. Look in the reloading section.
Sorry if this is a bit dry and long, I’m trying to be thorough.

I find the information very informative , I'm working on a cartridge for the AR-10 platform using a 44 Caliber bullet and 30-06 brass.

That is pretty much how I load my BPCR ammo. Where I differ is that I don't size the bullets unless I have to, and if I do I use a Lee bottom feed sizing die that I know is the correct diameter. I have experienced nose distortion from the top feed sizing dies. Neither of my C. Sharps or Shiloh Sharps have that much free bore that I can seat the GG Bullets with the GGs exposed unless I were to use a reduced diameter front 2 or 3 or bands. I have been experimenting with the two diameter PP bullets at 1:16 getting promising results. Today I shot some Matt's Bullets 215gr .430 #2 alloy from a 1985ish Winchester 1892 and got better accuracy with it behind Red Dot than I did any of my Shiloh or C. Sharps guns this summer. Both at 200 yards. Go figure. This winter I am going to try casting some of the 45-70 GG bullets out of Lyman #2 to test with. Nice video I found it useful to know I'm not far off the traveled trail.

Nice idea with the target boards. Most of what I’ve seen is 1.5 Swiss. How did you arrive at 2 F and in what rifle? What does the plastic wad do for accuracy? When you say bell do you mean flair or crimp? Ok. So you’re using a sizing die to create tension on the bullet. Nice.

I noticed that several of the top shooters were using 2F Swiss. Supposedly it gives you a little extra velocity, but my chronograph has yet to bear that out… All my powder gets ordered from Buffalo Arms.

@@RecoilTherapyChannel Which rifle are you loading for? And why the plastic wads?

@@dogbone1358 i’m loading for the CPA 45-90. Plastic wads are made by the same company that makes Walter wads. Lots of guys use them. I didn’t know if they would work any better than the fiber wad,but I did a big test, and for some reason the plastic wad on top of the fiber wad worked well with my rifle.
