Preparation time - 45 minutes
Serving : 5
Ingredients:
Chole (soaked) -2 cups
Black cardamom - 1
Cinnamon stick -2 inch
Cloves- 4
Tea leaves - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Garlic cloves - 4
Ginger - 2 inch
Onions - 3 (medium)
Cumin powder- 1 tbsp
Coriander powder -1.5 tbsp
Black pepper powder -1/4 tsp
Kasuri methi powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Dry mango powder -1 tsp
Pomegranate ( Anardana )powder -1.5 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Tomato paste -1/2 cup
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cooking oil- 5 tbsp
For tadka:
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Garlic cloves - 3
Ginger - 1 inch

This is the best chole recipe ever. I thought I can make the best chole. But you proved me wrong. I made chole for 25 years what my mom taught. But after this recipe, I change my thought. You are very versatile chef sister!!! This is the only way I am going to make chole ever. My both daughters who can take spice and one of them not eat any spice ate it and they were astonished. Chhole mein aap ne jitne masale Dale hai utne masale kisi hotel wala bhi nahi dalega
I only add , salt , dhaniya powder and ( chole masala or agar na ho to chicken masala ) , don’t worry chicken masala is veg.
Yeah lol just add the regular masala dhaniya powder, red chilli powder, haldi powder and amchur and garam masala and add chhola masala or will be just as good
To aap hotel me hi khaa lena. Dukan k readymade chhole masale se to ghar k masale zyada healthy hote hain.

Actually in this recipe you have used 2 cups chhole but if I want to 1 cup, shall i take half of the quantity of other ingredients and masala?
