I was watching and following the asian cup for fun, and after that huge win against Malaysia and that tie against south Korea, i thought we were going to a quarter finals for the first time in this tournament, when we lost to Bahrain, i knew that we would lose against iraq, but we surprisingly won, and i thought that we wouldn't make it past Tajikistan, we still did, and then i thought no way we would be present in a final, and we were, but luck wasn't with us

As a US football fan, I've spent most of my life glued to European matches. However, this Asian Cup final shook me. Expected excitement and strength, but it turned into a one-sided spectacle. The ref played ringmaster with an absurd 3 penalties in one game - I've never seen anything like it. Jordan fought hard, scoring one, and if I were Jordanian, I'd be celebrating that as a victory despite the 3-1 loss. But seriously, the ref's decisions were questionable at best.
