dang! i can't imagine a bass player who would be more fun to play with,or jam with than jaco pastorius-did you ever get to play with him? sorry-it's probly a dumb question-and i'm still finding stuff from 40 yrs ago i never knew about...

+tinfoilhatter Search CZcams for TRILOGUE and search for Jaco Pastorius & Alphonse Mouzon together. Jaco and I played ands recorded a DVD'CD/LP with German Albert Mangelsdorff the next day after this concert. Pure magic on stage!!

      Alphonse Mouzon
      OH WOW!
that's you and jaco playing in 'golden dawn suite' ,the al dimeola thing, wow!
sorry for asking the dumbest question ever! i never knew that was you! but yet that album, land of the midnight sun,i think that's al dimeola's first solo album, --man! how was it,playing and recording with those guys?
al was like only 22 i think,or 20 or something-yet what a prodigy! and jaco and you--talk about a trip!
please forgive me-i've been listening to those recordings since i was 17,i'm almost 51 now...i just only ever had a cassette tape someone had recorded for me,so i never knew who played on what..
so what other tracks did you play on,any other ones ,i mean on that 1976 'land of the midnight sun' album?
well thanks for the great stuff, and wow,i can't believe i'm talking to alphonse!
so what was dimeola like? did you have any laughs,he looked pretty serious and studious in all the photos i've seen, when he was that young,'fastest-gun' guitar maverick...his playing just always knocked me out...
and jaco, wow, what a bass player,he could so easily fit into any band, musically at least..
drumming is hard! you make it look harder if anything--haha,thank you, sir!
