I truly love the way you talk about this books. You have such a unique character
omg that is so kind of you, thank you sm !!
This series is much needed. And i hope you do more of this. I learned my lesson a year ago when I bought Breast and Eggs and has been having a hard time finishing it. I'm almost 80% complete but im not sure if I'm able to complete it this year, especially if i have other many TBRs
thank you sm !! and aw i'm so gutted to hear that as I really loved breasts and eggs - can I ask why you're not enjoying it?
Before the coffee gets cold is one of the most boring, see through and repetitive books in recent memory. If minus 3 stars was an option...
lmaooo fair enough, I read it on holiday years ago so maybe I need to re-read and see if I still feel the same
Agree !!!
I also liked the Normal People show better than the book. I think the story didn't do well in book format, but the show's actors really made it shine.
completely agree, daisy edgar jones and paul mescal really made that show good!
I HATED normal people.. and it was worse 'cause i actually really enjoyed conversations with friends.. but this book was unbearable
so glad that you agree! can't believe that's the most popular book of hers
I adored Never Let Me Go! This book sat on my bookshelf for the longest time and finally read it. So beautiful but sad 😢
I agree !!
You should also read Klara Under the Sun. It's an eye opener and so sad.
@@phantomthread4385 I agree that this book is also so beautiful!
I hated cleopatra and frankenstein so much lolllll
really !! I'm v intrigued by this - can I ask why?
I agree with you about bunny and daisy jones... very average books. I hated before the coffee gets cold though, I gave it 0.25 stars, I found it sooo horribly written and misogynistic!!
interesting !! i'm seeing a few people dislike BTCGC - I wonder if I need to re-read it and see if I still like it as I read it years ago on holiday...
Great video now I'm curious to know your favourite book adaptations and what made them great
oooo future video idea! I've seen a lot of movie/tv adaptations that I think do the books well, so I'd be more than happy to chat about this
Rating Bunny 2.5 stars is a crime
I just expected more 😭
I hated Normal People 😂 didn’t get the hype at all. I hated the characters, hated the miscommunication, hated their toxic romance. I did like the show a bit better tho
so glad you also feel the same !! I wanted to like it so badly but I just couldn't connect with it
Normal People gets the first spot for my most unenjoyable and hated book i ever read. I too cant stand the miscommunication trope and dont understand how some call this book a masterpiece. Love the video! 💕😁
God bless you for putting my feelings in print ❤
so glad to hear you feel the same! everyone seems to praise it and I'm like, am I missing something ??
I’m not a fan of Sally Rooney’s writing, but I did love the tv adaptation of normal people and conversations with friends
I still haven't got round to watching the tv show of conversations with friends - is it worth it?
@@katerinareem I think watching normal people made me feel more emotion towards the main characters more than it did in the book. And conversations with friends also had the effect. I do think though that conversations with friends was more enjoyable to read than normal people. The director did a good job at making the audience see how human the characters are.
But yes! Worth it, can be a bit slow at times though.
Yeah, I don’t get the hype around Sally Rooney’s books. I was extremely bored reading Normal People 😵💫
so glad you felt the same!
Thank God i am not alone with disliking Rooney, i don't understand the hype
agree !! I don't get it
