    Just an FYI for people trying to grow fruit from seeds; Make sure the species grows true to seed. A lot of fruit will be a random combination of traits from parents, meaning, it will not taste like the fruit the seed came from when it finally fruits. So you could waste 3-7 years for a sour or astringent fruit.
    For an apple I'd suggest golden delicious as it usually does grow true to seed. A rarity for apples. You can just do a quick search for which other fruits also do this. Permies forum has an ongoing list.

      If the fruit you get is not GMO type, then yes you can get fruit from seed grown plant. But if it’s a GMO fruit then may not produce fruit. Please google GMO fruits. Thank you for your question.

    How often do you water the seedlings? Or do you just keep it in the moist soil for 30 days and never had water for that period?

      @myalivesoul  Před 5 lety

      on OBell - okay first of all - keep 5-10seeds in paper towel, make them wet and put them in any kind of plastic bag, just lock the paper towel inside the plastic bag. Put them in cool and dry place inside your home, may be over the fridge, anywhere. Keep checking alternative day. If its dry water them otherwise no need. Once the seed germinate put them in good soil. Cocopeat works best. Then do as I have shown in video. Once u complete the steps n seeds grew let me know then I will tell the further process ahead. All the best

    Deepak you can grow apples from seed but they will not produce good apples. The resulting apples will most probably be very sour / bitter / tasteless. To get good quality apples you have to grow them from a cutting/graft of existing good variety. Example, a seed of Fuji apple will not produce Fuji apple, you have to use a cutting from a Fuji apple plant. All that said, it is still an interesting project for kids. 😊

    Hi many thanks for your video, does it need grafting in future to get fruit from?

    • @myalivesoul
      @myalivesoul  Před 4 lety

      That’s a good question. Seed grown plants give fruit little longer may be in 5-7 years. But if you graft them they can easily give fruits in 1-2 years. So it depends on you where you want to graft or not?
