It's a pity that the CD version of this box set gets the subpar treatment. Why couldn't they include the same elaborate booklet as in the 7 inch box set. I'm not into vinyl at all so I'm not going to get the very expensive vinyl box just for the booklet. Also the singles in the 7 inch box set are housed in an extra designed sleeve which is absent in the CD version.
Then there's the issue of content: several 12 inch mixes are not included. On CD1 "Young Guns" is included by mistake instead of one of the "Wham Rap" mixes. "Everything She Wants" should have been included as a stand alone single with its own artwork. Also "Careless Whisper" and "A Different Corner" should have been here. They were released during Wham's career and included on official Wham albums ("Make It Big", "The Final" and "Music From The Edge Of Heaven").

Its a beautiful package but a bit of a missed opportunity. They could of included the original demos, unreleased outtakes and any unreleased alternate mixes but they didn't which is a shame.
Absolutely agree 👍 this release is another missed opportunity to the fans no new material just the same old releases, just a cash grab, by Sony music yet again.

We need unreleased tracks, we've heard all these.
These are exact replicas of the uk12inches, just like the Duran box sets from 2003 and 2004. That was fine for that time, but in an era when people don't buy CDs, you have to add tons of unreleased stuff to make it worthwhile. I have all the UK 12s and Japan 12s also, and I'd rather have the original vinyl.
I purchased the Vinyl coloured set of this, huge fan of Wham, but this release is a massive missed opportunity yet again for the fans of wham and george, but as always.. where are the all unreleased tracks, the demo versions, and they also could have released live concert tracks, in which wham did many live concerts. Not forgetting the *Wham final* live farewell concert in June of 1986. That concert has never been ever released to the fans, it has never seen the light of day, wouldn't it been nice to have that remastered and incorporated into this new release, NO all we get is the same old releases and absolutely nothing new to listen to, such a shame.

@@FANDEUNBOXING Yes I know but still. The song was on Make It Big and in some countries the single was credited as “Wham! featuring George Michael”. Plus it plays a big part in the history of Wham.
@@stefannilsson6843 Totally agree with you, in France the song is credited under the sole name of George Michael but is present in the album Make It Big. The product could have been improved before the release, even Everything She Wants doesn't have its own single.
Dire que ce coffret est exceptionnel est loin de la vérité. Quand bien même les visuels et la qualité sonore sont excellents, le contenu des CDs est quelque peu décevant. En effet, le premier cd comporte déjà une erreur de titre proposant en 5ème plage "young guns remix club" au lieu de "wham rap" alors que ce remix figure déjà sur le cd n°2 ; parlons-en. Si le remix de "Young guns" de 6mn56 est excellent, il manque la version longue de ce titre de 5mn02 et qui figure sur d'autres compilations ; quant au cd "bad boys" quelle déception de ne pas inclure la version maxi!! seule une version single et l'instrumental y figure. "Club tropicana" et "wake me up..." sont fidèles au format de l'époque. Par contre, "everything she wants" et "last christmas" figurent sur le même CD!!! pourquoi?! des deux titres auraient pu bénéficier d'un cd distinct en proposant notamment les versions instrumentales en sus et la version album oiur "everything she wants". Grosse déception. Quant au cd "I'm your man", rien à redire, il est parfait et propose les versions du maxi de l'époque. Mais que dire de l'absence de "Careless whispers"? Alors que ce titre figure sur l'album "Make it big" de Wham! et que certains pays à l'époque l'ont sorti au nom du groupe tandis que d'autres en solo de George Michael, je trouve qu'il manque dans ce coffret où la version edit, la version maxi et instrumentale auraient pu être proposées. Grosse déception encore. Quant au booklet, il omet beaucoup de classement dans les charts notamment en France où "Everything she wants" avait atteint la septième place...dommage ; on aurait aussi apprécié davantage de photos. Conclusion, c'est un beau coffret, sympa pour les fans.

I'm sorry for you, can't you play "I'm Your Man"? Amazon has always delivered well to me, however, it's amazing coming from them.
I’m not a fan of erasing Everything She Wants as a single in its own right.

@@warren888 I think they didn't put the single of "Everything She Wants" because it is on track 2 of "Last Christmas", it's a shame...
watching the video it is clear that they have loaded the two singles into a single cd.
It was initially released as a double-A single w/ Last Christmas, probably that's why. Those two always went together!
After Christmas everything she's wants was changed to the a side I've got it on 12inch
This is just a cash in. No Careless Whisper on a Wham! compilation is bizarre. It’s on all the other compilations. I know it was George solo but it’s on Make It Big and was co-written by Andrew!
There’s no A Different Corner either. These boxes are a waste of time and energy because the people compiling them haven’t a clue. It’s too big a task for people that know nothing about the music, artist or era they’re dealing with.
