    What about if I am a freelancer or have my own company that i work remotely? In this situation i do not have a remote work contract and get a salary, but i can still qualify for D8.

    Now the NHR is gone, how do you avoid double taxation? Particularly because to get the visa you must have a declaration from a foreign employeer that you are earning foreign income, so you certainly will be taxed by that country...

    How do i get my money back for the twelve months accommodation if my D7 application is rejected? Is there a way to avoid paying the whole amount? More importantly, would the back release the deposit of 15,000 Euro should my D7 be rejected. What is the procedure involved to get my monies? Thanks

    Hi this is an amazing video, thank you so much for making it 🤍 Quick question, can one obtain a work permit to work in Portugal legally with a D7 visa?

    • @lexidy
      @lexidy  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Hi there! 🤍 Thanks for the kind words about the video! To answer your question, no, you cannot work with a D7 visa as it's specifically for passive income. However, there are other options available for working legally in Portugal or modify visa after one year of legal residence with D7. We'd be happy to guide you further! Just contact us via the link in the description.

    What did you mean that after 5 years of residing in Portugal, you can apply for a partial citizenship? What's a partial citizenship?

    • @lexidy
      @lexidy  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hi there. Thanks so much for your comment! I believe there was a slight misunderstanding --in the video Margarita mentions after 5 years of residing in Portugal you can either apply for Permanent Residency or Portuguese Citizenship. Hopefully this helps clarify your question!

    Hy, if i have Digital Nomad Visa for Portugal, can I travel to other European countries or is it restricted to Portugal? Can i apply for full time job in Luxembourg nd then start working there

    • @lexidy
      @lexidy  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Hi there! Apologies for the late reply!! With the Digital Nomad Visa you can travel to other European countries for up to 90 days. It does not grant you the ability to relocate to another European country to work.

    Would I be able to apply for the D7 visa with a passive income such as savings? And would I be able to work remotely?
    Thank you.

    • @lexidy
      @lexidy  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Hi Bringo, thanks for your question! For the D7 visa, you would need to prove you have regular passive income through streams such as rent, dividends, interests or other types of dividends. You can work remotely. However, if you do work remotely we can help you analyze if it might be better to apply for the Digital Nomad Visa.
      We would be more than happy to assist you with this decision. Our lawyers are just a click away if you need them, please see the details in the description!

    • @J.Ige65
      @J.Ige65 Před 9 měsíci

      @@bringolaselvapoto7418 I'm not an expert but you will not be able to qualify solely based on savings because it's not a stream of passive income coming in -- it's fixed. Perhaps something can be worked out if you show regular deposits of a certain amount into your savings account, but again, not sure, and more than likely it would not be enough to prove your case resulting in a denial of your application.
