- Antoine Dominique Domino aka Fats Domino (February 26, 1928 - October 24, 2017) had 35 records in the U.S. Billboard Top 40. Here we see him performing live in the Austrian music TV show "Spotlight".
Spotlight was a music show for the youth, which was aired between 1968 and 1978 by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). It was the counterpart to the shows "Beat Club" or "Musikladen" in Germany. - Hudba

All his songs make me want to get up and dance he was such a good performer!!! rest in peace AND SURE HOPE THE ANGELS IN HEAVEEN ARE DANCING TO YOUR MUSIC!!
Saw him in Bournemouth, England, in 1973. We tried to get up and dance, but they were there on the spot to make sure nobody did. A great pity, and unnecessary.

I played tenor sax, played 1/200th as well as the dude here. My R& Roll Leader in L.A. kept wanted me to "Play that grovoly sound, come on, Greg." The hell I kept playing, never sounding, like Charlie Parker! Good old Spider and the Mustang here in Riverside county, CA. Like Clit Eastwood says, that jazz musicians got integrity. BIRD movie the best movie OF THE 1980S.

Absolutely the greatest and very underrated! Hate when I hear Jerry Lee Lewis mentioned as one of the greats with his 3-4 hits without a mention of Fats! And that big band was phenomenal! 20 years after the records he sounds exactly the same and did through his very last performance
