- In this video I talk about the profile, care, and propagation of the Begonia taconite, a Tim Anderson begonia hybrid.
I also demonstrate the royal blue iridescence and compare it to the bluish green iridescence of the Begonia pavonina (Peacock Begonia).

Thanks for watching and Happy Planting.
Hello! I love your movies! I have a question. I have both - pavonina and taconite and mine taconite have many little, white dots on leafs. Interesting.
I'm not sure what those would be. Could it be some sort of mite infestation?
@@Growing-Things- nah, its it natural pattern. If u have any social media channel I can share a photos with you. I live in Europe, plant had passport. It looks very simmilar to your but have that litte white dots and spikes. Ofc it's iridescence.
@@kkkotka Here’s a plant group I started on Facebook where you can share a photo: facebook.com/groups/2259065680990842 If I can’t find any information on it, then hopefully someone on there may know something.
You should've taken 1 leaf and showed how you propagate it instead of pointing. .. next time maybe.
I have other videos which show that.
