My husband and I are both the youngest of large families. I just lost my first sibling on 7/19 and am helping my brother in law to go through her things as well. I certainly understand about the emotional energy... It is going to look amazing when you are finished!!!
When it happens you feel so alone the world keeps moving. Sometimes sharing helps with the recognition that we have have these struggles 😕So hard but so important we are careful with ourselves and our own limits with energy needed to process and sort. Hugs
Having lost my mother 30 years ago I can tell you that over time you realize you don't need their stuff to remember or show your love for them. Now I only have a few things that are important to me. Your walls look very organized. I organized my craft stuff when I retired but that was 7 years ago and I'm planning to do it again as soon as my granddaughter goes back to school. But I don't have near as much, only xstitch and sewing.
Thank you for sharing your reorganization of your craft room. It will be an awesome happy space once you get it set up. Looking forward to seeing the journey. ❤
Wowsers, you have so much crafting stuff. I hope you able to get it all sorted, and have room to craft. It's a truly love the room.
@@lindameeks5228 It’s definitely an endless source….
Nice to finally meet Mr. Northwoods, you have a big big job ahead of you but it is treasure hunting. Take your time and enjoy .
@@brendamaxwell7962 I’m finding treasures!😆
Sarah, the tables are a wonderful idea, having all that working space is great when you brought out the little sleds the light when on where are mine. Have fun, also i love stuffed grape leaves. Have a good week. 😊
@@sandraskonieczny746 Ooo! We may be related!❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher being related would be so fun, none of my friends or family does crafts. My daughterinlaws grandma makes home made stuffed grape leaves, she taught me but I forgot, I'm sure I can find a recipe. Anyway can't wait for he craft room progress.
We where all in this place with our craft rooms at one point. It is to hot for me to organize but come September I will get it beautiful. One craft at a time. Keep on trucking along and one day it will be done.
Thank you! I sure am hopeful ❤😊
Thank you for sharing the organizing of your craft room, I need to do mine, I’m going yours as my inspiration 😊❤
We are getting new carpet in August which requires me to clean out my walk in closet (craft closet) - I have actually been inspired by watching you today to do a better job in separating my craft items for storage - I wish I lived closer to you I would volunteer to come and help with your craft room - (you know you have the ultimate craft room!) - looking forward to seeing your progress 🙂
Oooo! You can buy new storage containers ❤
Thanks for showing us your craftroom.
You two make a great team 😊
😂😱😂🪡🧵I’m tired... i think I need a nap now😂🤣😂😎
Great job!
Love this vid!! You got excited about my own bulging room. It qualifies as a post brain surgery project. As soon as my daughter leaves I am starting. Can only do it slowly due to fall risk, but I will begin.
@@connieverbeck1110 I do a lot from a sitting position 🥴There’s just SO MUCH! Speedy recovery ❤️🩹🤗😘
Great job!
You could:
□Donate the puzzles to schools.
The elementary schools here make ornaments with puzzle pieces.
□ set up empty bins or boxes on your tables in the middle of the room with labels. (Sewing, cross stitch, rubber stamping, etc) When you go thru things, things can be tossed in them. Once you have your areas set up, then unpack the boxes.
You are doing great, keep going.
Oh I NEED YOU ❤😊
Found you😂
I have been doing similar work on my room. Sometimes I have been elated because I made so much progress.other times am in the pit of despair since I am sure nothing will ever come together. But I always know one thing. It looks a whole lot worse before it can get better! Hang in there!
@@phyllisdaum1213 Thank you! It does look worse for now
get a potable potty like I did, fix a little corner put up a rod with fabric to hide it
@@melissatarrance3518 ewwww but I could put one I. The attic space 😅
Could u keep the scissors in that bag in the paintbrush holder for easier access? Open them slightly & put one side in a hole the other side in another they should stand up nicely?
@@kristinaciminillo9908 Unfortunately the scissors are thick and won’t fit even opened.😕

❤❤❤
You could make a huge donation to a Goodwill store and make lots of people happy.
@@charlotteburgess7828 Grrrrrl whatta bout myyyyyy happiness?!🤣

What kind of table is that? It is perfect!
In Amazon search: work bench with power outlets and it’s by WORKPRO
🧚♀️💕
🥰❤️
Sarah, Love you & your videos. Do you have a link to Amazon & the tables you
bought? Thanks &
Good Luck!
Can’t post a link here but in Amazon search type: work bench with power outlet. WORKPRO $189 should pop up. Those are the ones I bought❤
Thank you💕
I'd still have a walkway space in between the double table sets, so you won't have to walk around & around 😝
Gotta get me steps in😂
@@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher True, but let me know when you move the tables :) LOL
OMG😱
I’ve heard swear words from first timers. They walk up and I hear ”@?$!”.

That’s awful! 2 months!! I know they don’t have name brand line DMC but what about Temu? I find cute scissors, hoops and accessories on there. They may even have fabric. I love Etsy too. If I’m ever in Mexico I’ll be sure to pack a suitcase of DMC and find you😅👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Can you find Anchor or Sullivan floss? Plenty of convertion charts on line to make substitutes.
I really think you need to purge some of your things. It will free you up. My suggestion is to put like things together and then go through those things and only keep the things that you will really do.
But I really do it ALLLLLLL😢I have gotten rid of a big box. Maybe next week there will be another
@@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher yes I believe you I was suggesting (not clearly) that you only keep the things that you think you would use in a year or two.
Will you cut out the name of the card giver to paste on the back if the shadow boxes or are those unused cards?
Wish I knew where to stop the video and tell you what you’re seeing but I have boxes of unused new cards and envelopes (solids and patterns) and I have card fronts (coworkers giving me their card fronts to up cycle into new cards.
Wow! You have mad organizational skills. But my dear, we need to talk. You do have a hoarding problem. I mean it in the most loving way. Hugs. I know you’re pain! Hugs.
I’m an organized hoarder😂I have been doing better NOT bringing so much home.
I don’t want to be mean but I think it’s time buying bargains also decided what you really decide what hobby you really want two to three hobbies is enough Decide what you really need Sorry it’s time to clean out. I had to clean out and cut down on bargains I had to Clean Out Sorry but time to dump out

@@maisabelbardales9122 Wish I could but sure the shipping would be extremely expensive 😬Hope you have a place to hunt for treasures like me. We have so many second hand shops and even my dump is a fun place to pick ❤️Maine hug to you
You need to stop , and do 1 area at a time !!!
It’ll be a process for sure
