This is probably the best game in the series in my opinion. I also can’t get over how even after beating the game, you can get all the legendaries and even get Arceus!! I’m getting so close to getting arceus, and can’t wait

As someone who doesn't own a Switch, would you recommend buying one specifically for this game? The last Pokemon game I have played was Sapphire/Ruby on the Gameboy Advanced SP. I'm not sure how the transition will be as someone who hasn't played a Pokemon game in well over a decade. Been interested in trying out some of the recent Pokemon games for the switch and Arceus was one which caught my eye since it looked somewhat different & advanced.

Pokémon legends ZA is crazy
A Kanto region legends game would be neat, perhaps there could be different kanto variants of Pokémon, different clothes to reflect the climate of the area
I truly love the old tyme nature of the design and art in this game. Poke Balls with a literal steel latch, all kinds of prototype devices, it all just feels so refreshing.
Despite its numerous flaws and shortcomings, PLA is the best Pokemon game on the Switch.
Totally agree , i started scarlet and got bored of it even before the first gym !
I just started playing this like a month ago and I think it's my favorite in the franchise, and I've played since red/blue!
Legends Arceus walked so that Palworld could fly.

As someone who just ordered a switch and hasn't played a pokemon game since saphire, where should i start and what should i skip
Sapphire and pokemon coliseum were the highlight of my teendays, cant tell you how many hours i had on Pokémon stadium as a young kid

@@tomhalf3018Diamond and Pearl are good. Sword and shield are ass. Barely any story. Pokémon are cool, but the rest is ass. If you have a 3ds or the cita emulator then the alpha sapphire and ruby remakes are cool, x and y is cool, Pokémon mystery dungeon for switch is nice too.
IMO Scarlet and Violet are the worst in the series.
I would rate this game 8.5/10. Half a point for the graphics that you mentioned about along with the areas being split up into different sections. A half a point for not being able to skip certain cutscenes and the last half a point for a specific annoying character 😒 I get games along with movies basically need it and I actually love the developers do it on purpose but had to mention it

Grew up with Pokémon playing Blue, Red and Yellow on the Gameboy. Todays graphics compared to then is Night and Day for me! 😂
For the overall scenery it’s great , i also really like the sky but in terms of character model… it’s kinda bad, the logo in pearl / diamond clan uniform look so pixelated. The character well it’s great but idk.. sometimes i feel like the character player eyes separated way too much ?
Just bought it yesterday with the switch and as an pkmn platinum enjoyer i am fired to battle my fav. Legendary pkmn Giratina in legends arceus 🔥🔥
Ngl the sounds & background music are 100/10 esp when Giratina appeared with Volo.

Love the rare spawns of baby pokemons as well & the pokedex mechanics are so realistic when u have to understand one pokemon’s nature. Coolest pokemon game ive played since Emerald 🙏

This was the switch the game needed. Although, I did miss the gymn battles.
Okay, nice to know I'm not crazy. I found it pretty frustrating that you have to go back to the village just to travel to a different part of the region each time. If you could fast travel anywhere on the map from where you are, that would have made things a bit easier.
As someone who started with Blue and then completed Gold/Silver, this was my first Pokemon game in well over a decade. I was very happy with the advancements but wished there were more trainer battles and gyms
This is 200-400 years in the past. Do you actually expect gyms in ancient times?

@@TimboTbagz why does there need to be a replacement for it? The game has its own fun challenges and fights to deal with and in the end game you can continuously fight other trainers all you like. At least Legends Arceus had some difficulty to it, you using the easy gyms and trainers in the main line games and saying we should have an equivalent would just downgrade the game
I feel like 8/10 is a tad bit generous. The graphics look almost identical to that of breath of the wild, which came out several years ago. Dont get me wrong thr game as a whole looks fun, but its frustrating to know the developers couldve done better with the graphics but didnt
As someone who has absolutely loved this game…..I agree haha. I think that 8/10 would be an accurate rating if you only compared it to other Pokémon games

No matter how much people hate on them thee x,y, omega ruby, and alpha sapphire may have been very fast games or short in terms of play time but they are still my top 3 100%. Nothing can beat of ruby for me cause it was my first game but those games deserved more
Pokemon silver was my first and still my favorite. It was a memorable moment in my childhood.

Tbh it’s not the graphics, but how few Pokémon are in such a big world. They could have shrunk the world down more and would be more dense gameplay having something new every corner
This game absolutely FIRE🔥, I got board with pokemon right about when sun and moon came out. After that I put down the controller. 5 years later they dropped and absolute GEM. Nintendo has been listening
I love pokémon but I still haven't bought a game on my switch. I want snap for me and my son. Hopefully the next open world one is really good like Zelda or something

It’s crazy that both this and scarlet are violet was being made at the same time by game freak. Yet somehow scarlet and violet came out as shit.
I'm not going to pretend this one was a masterpiece visually, but at least I didn't get a headache trying to play it

The pastures are so much better than any other pc system on the Switch. It annoys me to no end how poor the one in S/V is when compared to Arceus. No mass release!!
This is the direction pokemon needed to go but then they went back to whatever the hell sword and shield was.

it's graphics were good lol u just literally were standing on the mountain that marks the boundary of the game and they are designed to look like that to give u the idea that u can't go any furthur

Pokémon sv is the game U should ask for a refund (but the story in sv is one of the best in Pokémon tho but it still won't make up for how shid the game is)

Yes I agree with the others, this is the best Pokemon game by far, Scarlet and Violet could have easily surpassed this but the decisions they made for that game is so weird, the lets go mechanic is a downer, the world is so big but also so empty, and lastly performance issues.
Complaining about Pokémon graphics is like complaining about the sound quality for movies made in the early 1900s
No one is expecting high-quality like on a GTA five level graphics from Pokémon who started as an eighth it and I’m actually shocked is this good
Would it be nice for them to run the game on unreal engine five yes yes it would but I’m not paying $100 for it and I know that’s what Pokémon will charge for it because they have games that are 20 years old and now our hundred dollars apiece the new games that are over a year old or still at base price they don’t even put these games on sale

For this game, just fix UI/UX stuff. But for next game I want to see them combine this with the main line series... imagine this same open world with 8+ towns scattered about, each with it's own gym you can take on in any order

I never liked this game because of the unnecessary amount of field tasks you needed to do and it made it not fun for me to play it as well as the level of skill you needed to have to play this specific type of Pokémon game. It’s a great like pace in change for the Pokémon from the throwing mechanics to the crafting system, but it’s not for me. What I personally thought was have the field tasks as a side quest for items or even Pokémon encounters or to have exp candies but that’s personal opinion and I’m not hating on this game it’s just not my cup of tea.
