Tokyo Bay Aqualine is an expressway that connects Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, to Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture, on the other side of Tokyo Bay, via an undersea tunnel and a marine bridge. The connection between the undersea tunnel and the marine bridge is the Umihotaru Parking Area, an artificial island. The deepest part of the undersea tunnel passes 57 meters below the sea level. The Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line starts at Kawasaki Ukishima JCT in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and ends at Kisarazu JCT in Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture. The journey from Kisarazu JCT to Kawasaki Ukishima JCT takes about 20 minutes on weekends and holidays.
