      We hope to go back and explore more of the island ourselves, but in a time crunch it was a great way to see the main spots and Bagus could not be a more perfect guide and just genuinely good person. The swastikas were jarring at first before I (Steve) finally remembered learning a while back in school they were also hindu symbols. Thank you as always Carl, Melissa and Santos Fam! 🙏

      Thanks for watching Narcisa! This was actually right before lockdown as well, we filmed this on March 18 after it was declared a pandemic and made it off the island a few days later after they stopped issuing visas on arrival (that's coming up next week). They really have some beautiful temples.

    Cute how Gokce evenly distributes the fish food to them all, I’m exactly the same when feeding animals☺️ well done for trying the cat poop coffee, Steve didn’t look too convinced by it after his first sip!😅 also Craig actually enjoyed one of your ads as it was an automatic lawnmower ad! 🤣🤣

      Lol glad Craig found something useful out of it! 😂 Gokce definitely has a kind heart, always trying to make sure all the animals get fed evenly (she's been doing it with the cats and dogs here in her hometown)! The Bali coffee was strong and a bit bitter, the "cat poo chino" was definitely better, but they also had some other really tasty "normal coffees" at Satira which we preferred ;)

    We think that you are both lucky and unlucky. Because you visited all famous places like a special tour because of corona virus. And also unlucky because of social distance and have to stop your world tour. Luwak coffee is the most expensive one in the world but ı have to say that ı like turkish coffee😁

    • @TravelInteresante

      We totally agree! It was bittersweet to be there during that time, also we felt very bad for the people of the island who rely on the tourism to come and now there is none. Why were you not wearing masks? It is a common safety courtesy which protects everyone you meet. To not wear one, especially when most other people in the places you went to were wearing them, is inconsiderate and dangerous.

    • @TravelInteresante
      @TravelInteresante  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Glenn, this was actually filmed back in mid March right after the WHO declared it a pandemic but before there was any consistent guidelines on mask wearing. Most people in Bali at the time did not wear a mask and there were only a few confirmed cases on the island. Currently we are not going anywhere in public without one. Hope that clarifies things, thanks for watching!

    • @GWBB99
      @GWBB99 Před 4 lety +1

      Travel Interesante Thank you for the clarification! Glad to hear you are being safe. I have never seen Bali so empty, not in all the years we have been going there. It saddens me. We had the entire Singapore zoo to ourselves in early February, which was eerie. At that time, everyone in Singapore and most people in Bangkok were wearing masks, long before the WHO started to recommend it. We lucked out and managed to find some before they all
      sold out.
      Glad to hear you enjoyed the trip!
