I started watching in June of 2015 and they were still in the home by Aaron's mom. They had no children yet and 10k subscribers. I do feel time has went by so fast and I love watching all of this developing!!

I just have been realizing how much Aaron now knows about the trees and the names and he can identify plants. I have been watching for a long time and hope I am not speaking out of turn but his knowledge has grown since the beginning. I am glad Aaron addressed the issue of composting. I also liked the composting plan that the tree company was using. You can also dress up the front of this system with wood opening. Go for it!

A word of warning, for anyone who might have been influenced by this video: the Chiffon series of Rose of Sharon still seed. Not as much as the older varieties, but still pretty significantly. I had Blue Chiffon a couple of years ago, and seedlings were even coming up in sidewalk cracks.

What a fabulous shopping trip! I can't even imagine buying two trees, more less all that you just got! It will be so exciting to see what you do with them! So, next Summer, after school is out, you should have a 'Gardening with Benjamin' segment in some of your videos. He is a natural in front of the camera and seems to be absorbing so much of the plant knowledge from you two! He is a joy to watch!
I would warn against planting Ash trees
Tragically almost every ash tree in Virginia is dead in the past few years - killed by the Emerald Ash borer. This invasive insect is making its way across the continent. Its devastated all our biggest shade trees and caused huge tree removal bills
