  • This video is about my experience with the Covid-19 Coronavirus. I was tested and then notified that I contracted the Covid 19 virus. I wanted to make a video to explain my symptoms as I work through the entire cycle of the virus. I am now in day 12 from having my first symptoms. This virus can effect each and everyone of us differently so I feel any informations that can help people is a good thing. Please keep your social distancing and make sure you clean your hands and stop touching your face. If you are experiencing any flu like symptoms, please contact your physician for medical assistance.

Sometimes the simple things work the best to keep us healthy. Looking forward to your next update. God Bless You.

      Thanks Michael. That's the point to this video. The news has only showed us scary images and they have only talked about the worst cases. This virus is extremely contagious and very dangerous but it doesn't mean a death sentence if you get it. I just wanted to explain my symptoms and experiences with the virus so people can see a different side.

    I was diagnosed with COVID19 but oddly 11 days after my symptoms first started. My symptoms were very close to yours for the first 4-5 days fever 101-102+, body aches, fatigue, and headache. Around day 4-5 I actually thought I was getting better but then my fever relapsed. Then I started getting a very mild non persistent dry cough that was so mild it would have been like I was clearing my throat. My chest did make this crackly sound when I would take a deep breath for about 3 days but that went away. My latter symptoms were nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and a lot of anxiety. By day 8-9 my fever was gone and my symptoms started to quickly go away. Again day 11 I was tested and like you my tests results took 6 days. My symptoms would be classified as mild but there were times I felt like death again I had so much anxiety from watching the news I had a panic attack where I felt like I couldn't breath and my hands had this wave of tingling in them. I called 911 and EMS came and they took my oxygen levels through an Oximeter (97) and basically said I was perfectly fine and said I would have had to been on my death bed for them to take me in. That was a real sobering moment and I decided for the next three days not to watch any sort of news and just watched the Office to get my mind off things. Thanks for sharing your story and be safe!

    • @barbarahenninger6642
      @barbarahenninger6642 Před 4 lety +4

      I don't think the ambulance people did the right thing telling you you were fine. With a crackly chest you might have had pneumonia. An older guy I heard of - age 63- was told by ambulance attendant that he would be fine at home, but he died.

    • @DeweyDavenport
      @DeweyDavenport  Před 4 lety +4

      Joseph, wow. I'm glad your feeling better now. I can see how you had a panic attack by watching the news. I honestly never watch it. The little bit that I did I knew I couldn't continue spending my time and energy watching it anymore. When the doctor told me that I have to suspect that I have the virus it but I don't qualify to be tested I was confused. I questioned the reasoning and he totally understood my concerns. Anyways, I got tested and then my anxiety really set in but cause of the unknowns that were ahead. I'll be going to donate plasma in the next couple days.

    • @jrasero23
      @jrasero23 Před 4 lety

      @@DeweyDavenport I might have missed it but did you ever get a second test showing you were negative? I think I was lucky enough to get one test and doubt the DOH will set me up with another. Even though I have been cleared to come out of isolation and it has been 24 days and I am symptom free I still wonder how long the virus stays in the body and if you can reactivate the disease or become reinfected. I am more anxious to take the antibody test... Thanks for posting and stay well!

      @jrasero23 Před 4 lety +1

      @@barbarahenninger6642 you are probably right but it was sobering to here that my condition was mild. I think so many of these EMS workers have seen such sick people that are in terrible shape and they are probably getting push back from the hospitals about who they bring in that they kind of have to make these calls.

      Thank you for your account of your experience. I’m petrified of ‘C’, so paralysed by fear - it’s as though I’ve developed an acute extreme phobia of it. I have nightmares of the worse case scenario, I try not to watch news, trying. I’m just so scared and knowing it’s not going away I’m not sure how I can continue life in this acute anxiety state. Also a WFPB vegan and I hardly ever get sick! And when I do, I’m not really kicked onto my ass - I usually am able to fight through it. I have to think that being vegan is the reason for that. 🌱❤️ thanks for the video!

    Hi Dewey, I'm also from Ohio. We live on the lake. I feel too, generally speaking, that they didn't acknowledge that this virus quicker than expected. Here's my take on it.
    Around March 4th or so, a coworker developed an awful fever and cough. He actually lost his voice for a day or two. After the fever resided he returned to work. About a week later one of my managers got very sick. Throwing up, nausea, coughing and coughing, fever. She went and since they never traveled they were basically like "no way you have it". Returned to work a few days later. A week after this myself and a coworker developed strange symptoms. Ours pretty much mirrored each other. Im 30 and he's 18.
    We both had a dry cough, slight fever (not low grade even), fatigue, shortness of breath . The fatigue hit him harder.
    For me, the first 3 days it was a dry cough. Day 3 is when I started to feel really bad. I would get really warm for a few hours then wasn't. Then it'd come back, then go away. The cough followed the same route as did the fatigue. I would get sweats at time as well. Day 4 or 5 I got aches, like, down the the joint aches. This was brief. Day 6 and 7 I had a lasting headache. During this I had nasal drainage (and it was awful tasting) it wasn't a lot but was present and not normal. Also has a slight sore throat.
    I never got tested because it was mild, I just tried to distance myself as much as possible from everyone at work. The worse part is my company basically said (you can work if you don't have a fever) which I never measure with anything like a low grade fever but I definitely kept getting warm off and on.
    I think finally around day 8 I had gone outside and done some yard work. Breathing was a little more difficult than usual but eventually resided and felt a lot better. I had one more coughing fit after this then slowly resumed to normal energy.
    Given the off and on symptoms, I very well believe my coworker and I had the virus. It seems to be common with this that the symptoms bounce around.
    I've never in my life had a flu like that before. I feel the fact that they're basing it so much on the fever, they're missing out on potential infections. They're now finding possible skin rashes and such linked to the virus. It is indeed scary stuff.
    Glad you had mild symptoms and got better. It doesn't seem to target a age group. It seems to fall down to genetics on of it hits you hard or not. Hopefully we see herd immunity sooner rather than later and we can resume living normally again.

      I'll paste a copy of the comment I just left Dewey about my ordeal with Corona and how I eventually cured it. Like you said, this virus seems to hit some people harder than others. I read something not too long ago that said people with a low vitamin D level were getting the more severe cases, and I'm convinced my vit. D level was pretty low, because I had been drinking a lot of beer, which depletes the body of vitamins, and I also wasn't getting much sunlight during the winter. Anyway, here's the comment, take care my friend.---- I had a severe case of Covid in my lungs and wasn't sure if I was going to make it. I treated it at home, because the only solution the doctors and hospitals have are ventilators. I laid on my side twice a day to drain the fluid to keep from drowning, and started using heat treatment with a hair dryer and breathing in the hot air for 30 minutes, several times a day, to slow the replication. I also turned the heat up to above 95F, which lab tests in India have shown slows replication. Then I started taking every antiviral known to man. I took 2000 mg of oil of oregano daily, 1000mg olive leaf extract, cayenne, mushrooms, garlic, milk thistle, skullcap, diosmine, hesperidin, grapeseed and grape fruit seed extracts, cinnamon, quinine sulfate, drank 2 liters of tonic water with quinine per day, one gallon of green tea, quercetin, zinc sulfate, zinc picolinate, high dose vitamin C and D, Azithromycin and cipro which are antibiotics with anti viral properties, cumin and celery seeds. I also took Curcumin and ginger for anti inflammatories which helped slow the cytokine storm. All of these things helped out, but I still had this crap in my lungs over a month after the infection started. The fluid went down to the point where I only had to drain it once a day, but the infection was hanging on. Then God reminded me of something a guy had told me several weeks before I became sick, that he used Ivermectin worm medicine to cure his infection. I ordered some on the internet, and once I took it, I was totally recovered in 4 days. I went for a nasal swab test at the county health department and I was virus free. From what I've learned so far, Ivermectin doesn't actually kill the viruses, it just stops them from replicating replacements to carry on after they die. Since their life spans are only a few days before they die, once they are prevented from replicating replacements, they die in a few days and you are 100% virus free. You only need one dose, because it has a long half life and stays in the body for several days and the dosage is 1mg per every 10 lbs. of body weight. Our FDA has not approved it for Covid treatment, because nobody has funded a large million dollar control group study showing it works. It's approved by the FDA for treating worms though and has a long safety record. Since it's a generic drug, there's no money for big pharma, so nobody is gonna spend a million dollars to fund a study. Recently in Bangladesh researchers gave 60 Covid positive patients Ivermectin and in 4 days all 60 tested negative for the virus, and many of the patients had severe cases of Covid like I had. I also recently read where the city of Trinidad in Bolivia gave 300,000 doses of Ivermectin to it's residents to cure Covid 19 and also as a prophylaxis to keep them from catching it. In Oklahoma the word is out about this cure, and people have cleared the pet and feed store shelves of Ivermectin. Anyway I just thought I'd share this information with you and the other people on this thread. Good Luck and God Bless.

    3 days ago i woke up feeling normal and then out of nowhere i was hit by extreme fatigue, fallowed by headache and now backache in the kidney area. No fever yet but my temperature fluctuates like crazy, 98.4 was the highest so far. Thinking if i should go get tested or save the test for someone with severe symptoms.
    I'm glad you're doing OK and thank you for sharing!

    Same as me, start with headache, all the symptoms followed, 1 month up and down, about a 2 week active symptoms. Not hospitalized, unless my symptoms got worse, chest tightness a d dry cough and loss of smell and taste. No test from my hospital system. Later after my symptoms resolved, I was community tested by drive through to, a different teaching hospital, negative outcome. But now I have the headache again, almost like a reinfection or flare up of virus still in my body. This is so miserable, I also live alone, worried family and friends. Food brought to me too. I think I had grocery store exposure, then stayed home 5 days until symptoms started. Temp went really low 95 range after a high of 100.3 with chills and changing. Dry too, drank water and water, 3 bottles at a time. Crazy virus! The dreams were vivid long and reliving life events as if back in the same place, same people. Over and over, like the virus in my head opened my memory of past events, full color and actions. Dry cough, tight chest airway narrowing was the scariest too. My full body ached equally painful all over. I kept a diary and logged all my progression. I am isolating by choice, kept msg to my MD and she said if I got worse she would hospitalize me. I walked in the house, kept doing breathing exercises to open my airways. Sat in rocker to keep head up to breathe. So many things, washed hands, ran them through bleach water, cleaned areas .I got a foggy head and trouble focusing too. Keep up the fight.

      Testing negative may still mean you have UNDETECTED virus that is BELOW the minimum of the test; in the 3000 to 5000 range. This means it can possibly re emerge if it starts replicating again.

      Same situation here. I've been sick for 5weeks now. Went through majority of the symptoms listed for Covud19. I had low-grade fever for 2 weeks. cough, tightness in chest, runny/stuffy nose, malaise, dizziness, nausea, sore throat.. I couldn't get much help from my doctor. It took me 2weeks for me to be able to get tested. it was negative. after that I got higher fever with headache, loss of appertite, nausea etc...then my nasal congestion got worse. I kept asking my doctor to help me, but they kept telling me to call the hotline. I was so frustrated. My nose got stuffed up even more at the same time runny as well. My mouth was super dry. My doctor told me get re-test done so I did 2 days ago. I was told by a nurse that I probably don't have the virus any more even if my 1st test was false-negative, because it's been so long since my symptoms started. It can be just cold virus that lead Bronchitis and Sinusitis.. but I've never experienced this.

      I lost my sense of taste for about a day and a half after testing positive at work the week prior and while quarantining. Without it being in the news, I doubt I would've done anything nor noticed.
      For nine months prior, I had been on a strict Keto diet and was losing weight. Preliminary research is showing that a diet high in animal fat may be the best defense against the virus. Vegans and the immuno-compromised including those with AIDS are particularly vulnerable. Diabetics too, although many of those on meds continue to ingest carbs and sugar and take in very little fat. If they are low carb, the fact that they're diabetic doesn't seem to matter.
