Japanese game shows are just as goofy and weird as the TV commercials that are aired, but they both have some kind of charm and fun to them. Takeshi's Castle is one of the primary examples of a perfect Japanese game shows.

as a person who has been living in japan since I was 4, I can tell you these are insane for a reason. I mean, there's a show dedicated to spying on people while pranking them. (if you are wondering what the show is called, its called monitering, like not translated, just converted to rome language. and it has been running for decades)
Aren't these types of shows rare? I've heard from channels like Abroad in Japan that these types of game shows are extremely rare, and/or old.
@@alext3811 they are not too rare, in the comedy scheme it is super common but in other genres it is hard to find.
