This is Bo's Disney villain song
The internet’s Disney villain song
I love the character that Bo plays in this song, like he's exactly how i'd picture the Internet if it was a person. Absolutely chaotic, a slight carnival vibe, and completely insane, but the kind of insane that is charismatic and charming. Like a puppeteer of sorts, someone who pulls all the strings while still maintaining the friendly and charming act, but still psychopathic. I live for it.
There's also alot of symbolism going on,
He's acting as a personification of the Internet. The increase in tempo is similar to how you keep scrolling faster and faster.
The green spot lights are meant to be stars, symbolises the vastness of the internet. Each star represents a piece of content, you can also see stars being born throughout.
You see him turning off the green lights when talking about the time before the internet. Back when there were only a few blogs on the internet.
The red light symbolises strong emotion. In this case addiction.
After the light turns red, with a twist the Internet lets out an evil laugh looking at you caught in his trap. The green stars overlap with the red light, meaning you've finally got yourself addicted to the internet. And he keeps asking you again and again if he could interest you in anything all of the time while the camera/viewer is trying to move away from it
Good stuff!
🤣😂🤣😂 vindiya gives you a perfect description of the song with a lot of work and the answer is "good stuff " Welcome to the internet 😁

Loved this song; apart from the message it holds, it's really catchy.
So you dont like the truth? Ok
@@frostymcnuggets8504 no I love the message, but the song itself is also really catchy.
@@frostymcnuggets8504 "apart from" can equate to "in addition to" but with a shifted focus.
@@Voltag3Galaxi3s39
Wow, the more you know.
@@frostymcnuggets8504 yeah you really misinterpreted what they said lol
His voice and the song reminds me of The Nightmare Before Christmas
The masses don't know about the library. Spent lots of time there as a kid. Got in trouble for lewd computer usage etc. The usual.
this guy didnt pause it every 2 seconds so i like him
I try not to!
Love the vaudeville feel of the song.
Listen to his new song all eyes on me. That's a banger
ok this is good .
this is how u react, not by pausing every 2 seconds .
Love Bo and loved your reaction! You seem chill and insightful. Have you ever listened to twenty one pilots? Would love to see you react if you haven't!
Yes I have! But I don't think I could name a song, so maybe I need to add it to my list. :)
@@SJOrr please do! They've got lots of lesser known gems. I'd recommend starting with Ode to Sleep if you decide to dive in
The song has 15 million views

5.25 floppy discs? wow, u zoomer. my first pc loaded from audio tapes.
Ha! Nice!
I feel like you missed the point of the song, our generation was not who "the internet" was talking to. It was talking to children, enticing them with anything & everything. Bo is trying to illustrate that the internet can be a dangerous place, and just like the world you shouldn't let your child simply wander around in it.
I don't think it's targeted to children. It's targeted to anyone who grew up in the age of the internet, from 1999 on
@@dougdomes3986 Well, yes we are the targeted audience. That's who Bo, the man behind the song, is trying to reach. But the voice, the "internet" is welcoming those that are new to it. The modern internet that is. Then says "it wasn't always like this." We already knew that, he's telling the kids that. The whole song he's talking to children. But the song itself obviously isn't for children, it's a warning to parents.
@@Dumbledork1337 I disagree with that as well, because I think Bo very much realises that there's no escaping the internet. The internet has taken over our lives, and unless parents go full amish I don't think it's possible in our current era to not get kids plugged in.
@@dougdomes3986 I think @Dumbledork1337 is right, that it's a word of warning to parents to not let their children just wander onto the internet, which becomes difficult if they get hooked to the iPads when they're "barely 2." But like you said, how feasible is it really to avoid this trap? The Internet has us, and thus the evil laugh.
@@dougdomes3986 listen again to the Song. The slow Part is definitely meant towards a Kid. "Mommy let you use her iPad, you were barely two" ipads were first introduced to the world in September of 2010. If the Kid was two when mommy got her first iPad, that Kid is now 12 years old. and that is the oldest possible kid that is talked to in the second part.
No reaction video I've seen so far has realized this little tid bit, which makes the second and slower part much more devious. "It was always the Plan to put the world in your hand" "It's designed to Catch people joung and keep them hooked due to Information- and Stimulation-Overload" "Anything and Everything all of the Time!"
This Song is Bos most devious one. And I Love it.
If you want to watch another talented musical comedian: Tim Minchin
I love Tim Minchin!
Gen x is definitely getting erased as a concept. I'm one too.
