getintopc has it for free search getintopc on ur browser ( google or bing it will pop up on there ) and download after effect for free ( but Adobe has new programs that detect if the program is legit so i recommended 2020 verison if u don't want to risk it )
when you were going to select a layer, you didn’t need to select all of them and then just leave that one, you could just keep holding the layer (like for her to see)
@Azahriah - Fan it may be extremely confusing for beginners since after effects is a professional software with all these buttons and areas here and there, but if you watch a tutorial and practise over time, youll get the hang of it. IMO after effects is the best software to use on pc because you can do literally anything transition and effects wise
I am very happy with this video, because usually people say that alight motion is a bad app and in those that we edit in alight motion we don't have as much recognition as other editors :/
Instead of masking, you could try to use 2 copies of the layer for each sides. And use the Wipe effect in the "Matte/Mask/Key" section. Then apply the move and transform to the layer copies. Im still pretty new to am but I still love all your edits😍😘 Keep up the great work Lauren❤️ Oh, and btw. Setting the feather to 0.01 will fix the wipe effect not appearing.
Alight motion is such a good app if you want an After effects mini for mobile, it looks intimidating at first but once you stay on the app and experiment with different things you find out stuff, and Lauren from your first AM vid you taught me how to use move and transform so thanks ♥️

The split slide is actually really easy, just duplicate the layer, add "wipe" to both of the clips, choose how u want the scale to be and there u go!
