Well, if you wanna have a recommendation, I suggest checking out Vs Dabicco. There is literally no beat to any of the songs, Dibacco's vocals are quite literally a Taco Bell toilet, BF's vocals echo for some reason, the instrumentals are non-existent and the creator uses the excuse that they were 10 while making it as an excuse to all its problems.

Although the song isn’t bad, I have heard about the “Ben Drown” mod not being faithful at all to the creepy pasta it’s based off of. I’ve also heard of a Sonic mod called “Sonic the Hedgehog mod” that really doesn’t have a lot of very good songs in my opinion. Just some suggestions if you decide to make another one of these 😅

Also, I don't think it was intentional, but that Gacha mod really reflected about 99% of Gacha content from what I've seen Gacha kids watching: Just using popular stuff and hoping they get away with it. I’d recommend checking out the songs in The Blueballs Incident. I have mixed feelings for some of the music in that mod.
Well, imo, they are good songs. Although they won't leave you headbanging so hard you pop your neck, but they're very atmospheric and are surprisingly catchy.
Blueballs is interesting case because this songs are like that to fit whole horror theme of the mod.

The first Talking Ben mod shown here doesn't deserve to be on this list and the Confronting Yourself reference is not used for the entire song and actually adds on to it and makes it more good, it also has the potential to be a full fledged mod. The joke song is just there for the lols and is not meant to be taken seriously.

idk if just the absolute *surge* of impossible-to-beat-third-songs killed it for me, CONSTANTLY hearing that one riff in almost every mod since then for the longest time, or the birth of having to take five jackhammers to the keyboard just to finish off with quarter health, all kinda just killed the song for me, but it honstly just kinda doesnt even sound like a song. the instrumental is pretty good, it's the vocals that dug the grave for me

I actually disagree with you a bit. I don't like ballistic either though I agree it's the worst of the 3 songs but for me it's the instrumental I dislike because it's so boring. Just drums and a little bit of bass playing the same note for most of the song.
agreed, from all Whitty mod songs (definitive edition), Ballistic is the less good, i can't believe i actually liked it so much a year ago. The remastered instrumental is cool, not the best but i like it because it's more enjoyable than the vocals. But the original instrumental sucks.

Unpopular opinion, but I don't really like "It's-A Me" from the Mario's Madness mod.
Every other song from the mod is pretty good, but It's-A Me just feels... like such a basic song. It only uses a few notes, and there's nothing really special about it, unlike the other songs.
Can I explain something? Your opinion is totally valid by the way: but Too Slow works for EXE because sonic is all about going fast.
But Mario.EXE isn’t as fast, being more focused on a chilling, unsettling and scary vibe. So It’s-A-Me works for the character imo.
