    *** Why Hunt Hogs? ***
    My journey into wild/feral hog hunting started like many others living in rural communities. I didn't start hog hunting for fun or sport... I did it because I had to. My father-in-law started me on this path several years ago when he asked me to help out with a problem. You see, hogs cause millions of dollars of damage and destruction each year in rural communities and our situation was no different. Hogs were destroying our land, our family's land, and the land our family tree farming business. The vast majority of hunting videos that you see on this channel are hogs, boars and sows, taken from family land... this problem is personal for me. We have had hogs come as close as 20 feet from my front door, and having 2 small children at home and knowing how aggressive and dangerous hogs can be, getting rid of the problem was a safety concern. This is why when people ask how I got into hog hunting... my answer is always "I didn't get into it because I wanted to, I started doing it because I had to!". It's a personal fight and struggle...
    __________________________________________________
    *** Why Hunt Coyotes and Predators? ***
    Coyotes and Predators, similar to hogs, cause financial stress for many families in rural communities. Coyotes kill livestock, plain and simple. Ranchers have battled coyotes killing cattle since the early days of ranching and it costs them dearly. Cattle ranching is a business, the cows aren't pets, every time they lose a calf to a coyote those families lose a paycheck. Cattle ranchers hate coyotes just as much as Farmers hate hogs! I hunt coyotes to protect the livelihood of my friends and neighbors that depend on their cattle business to feed their family...

    Good stuff here. These thorough reviews with actual through-the -lens field views are taken for granted. Make no mistake, I know it takes a lot of work to put this out. Appreciate your efforts and the valuable insight you provide. Next, they need to work on battery life for longer use.

    Thanks so much for the review. Just ordered this scope and rings from Outdoor Legacy store. Got it married to my rifle, great fit. Can you recommend a scope cover and/or rear scope pop-open cap? I want to protect the back glass when it's out of the case until I'm ready to use it. I very much appreciate your time and any advice. Thanks.

    I'm torn between xq50 2 or xp50 2 for coyotes only, no hogs where I'm at. I know you get more base magnification with the xq but can't you just run the picture n picture on 4x like you did in these videos and still have a better picture at base power if you would get a closer shot?

    Hi Hans congratulation on your videos! I was wandering if you could help me out. I’m a bit concerned that the internal battery can’t be removed except by pulsar. All batteries have a lifespan and will leak if not removed. What does pulsar say about this? I would prefer only batteries that i can remove myself. But for the price i’m not sure if i can find something comparable with no internal battery.

    • @SM-eu5xl
      @SM-eu5xl Před 2 lety

      Send it back to Pulsar and they will replace the internal battery when the time comes. It'll be a while... Remember, you are not running off the internal battery much.. it always starts the drain on the external battery and then switches to the internal battery when you have drained the external battery so you're really not putting a lot of load on the internal battery compared to the external battery. I suspect it will have a much longer lifespan. Regardless, it can be replaced easily by Pulsar.

Haven't been able to get response from stream vision or pulsar but it seems a lot of people cant get it to work from some of the forums I have read.
