Well the title wasn’t lying. I definitely cried. Wentworth Miller has always been someone I look up to, and this video has only pushed my admiration further. I can’t believe I’m only seeing this now, I really needed this speech years ago, but I’m glad that it’s here now and whoever needs it, has it. What an inspiration. What an incredible human being.

I couldn't even count how many times I've attempted my life, I felt death after a OD. My soul made it 2 the gates of heaven, it felt so warm and peaceful when I hurd a voice say " your not ready yet" then instantly woke up after after I Don't know how long I was gone. I was diagnosed in recovery with depression, social personality disorder, anxiety, and Asperger's syndrome. It affects my life in ever aspect. Pushed every relationship I've ever made away, even my fiance and kids. Im just tired of feeling useless, and picking myself up time & time again! If I didn't have kids I already know I would've gave up years ago. There's nothing worse than mental health, especially in the modern world as a Man. Thanks for listening for what it's worth

Great video. I've always enjoyed Wentworth Miller's acting, I don't think there's anything I've seen where I was disappointed by his performance. I wasn't aware he tried to kill himself, but he talks about depression and suicide in a way which many fail to understand. People think of it as attention seeking or a cry for help, but often the individual in question has reached a point beyond that. For anyone still reading, remember you're unique and special, you bring something to the world that no other individual can.

SJ Axiotis if you ask any good actors that play roles with meaning traits from that character stick the the person for the rest of their life. Scofield went through hardships but was an emotionless person yet the viewers understood his pain even without them being vocal, just like wentworths life he went through pain and suffering and intentionally or unintentionally he was able to express himself through the character of scofield (if you understand what I’m trying to say then good on you 😊 )
The best actors are those who become the character but to become someone who your not is merely possible but what they do is they find something in that character they resonate that’s why it seems so genuine. Just like will Smith with the fresh prince
