- Last time I pranked the boys by telling them we were going to the dentist but surprised them with Disneyland... well... 8 months later let's try this again. Except this time I'm going to tell them we are going to the park and stopping at Starbucks on the way, but really we are going to the airport to fly to Legoland for their 10th & 8th birthday trip!

I feel like every surprise that involves three kids has the “I know what you’re up to” one, the in between “I think it’s happening but don’t want to get my hopes up” one, and the “that’s definitely not what’s happening” one. 💀
I love how at 9:55 Landen starts to ask about the trunk, but he stops himself and changes his words to the fact that the car would stop before he would get out and check the trunk.
When Chris started waving I about died the boys were so confused. Then when they are like wait the car is full. Haha love them

Seeing all the thoughtful surprises, trips, and just holidays in general that Jess makes happen for her family makes me so happy & jealous at the same time 🥺 I’m so happy for those kids, they are having the best childhood and they don’t even realize it yet (even tho they are all so grateful for everything they do!) and I’m jealous because I was raised by a single dad, at 13 I had to step up and act like a mom to my brother who was 4years old. So I had to grow up fast & didn’t get cute surprises, fun holidays or any vacations. I strive to be the type of mom Jess is whenever I have babies

Took my 2 kids to lego land for the first time in Jan and it was so fun. There is so much to look at just at the hotel alone. Seeing the hotel brings back so many memories. Have fun and and stay safe.

Hey Jess! You can tell the boys that when we lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada, we would take our girls to the airport for Starbucks and then to the flight observation desk to watch the planes go one in!! So yes you can go to Starbucks at the airport without traveling and have fun!!

@@Nvnymamita I live in Oregon and we go to Disneyland every 6-12 months. I love it and could go multiple times a year and never get tired of it. My husband does not love it and my 10 year old son is over it as well but my 2 teenage daughters love it. I think there are people like us who just love it always and those that just don’t. Jess has said before her boys enjoy it but are not as crazy about it as her and lilia.
I think next time you need to tell them you’re going to Seattle or somewhere for a business trip to film a brand deal🤣

These are my favourite videos ever 😭 there’s absolutely no better feeling as a parent than surprising your children with something they want! Iv done it so many times with Disneyland and other places! It’s just the best and they will never ever forget it because it was such a surprise 💪🏽👏🏽😭❤️❤️❤️
The next time you want to do this is take them to the airport, show them a fake letter about making a report about airports/airplanes, say something about going to watch what goes on, etc. I don't know how far you can go inside airports now, but maybe you could go early enough to watch from a distance, etc. then surprise them with a trip, YOU"RE THE BEST!!
