Welcome to the city of Ashwood Grove--a curious place where magic rules and evil lurks just out of sight. Join me in exploring the strange and powerful characters who call Ashwood Grove their home through a series of personal attention, ASMR role-plays.
After your first meeting with Poppy, you got to thinking about the VSSCC, the organization responsible for giving you your blood supply. You go to investigate, only to discover there is more going on than you originally thought. Poppy has been keeping a close eye on you, and she's now at your apartment to find out what you've learned.

My dyslexia kicked in when I saw the thumbnail and I thought it said “We’re gonna be great parents” I was like “WOAH went from not trusting me to talking about kids. Went from 0 to 100 real quick!”

This dynamic feels extremely one-sided.
We were just looking to go on a date, and she attacks us, then decides to use us. The fact that she kissed us at the end doesn't sit well with me either; that was basically assault. Now she's acting as if she's grateful for what we did, as if we're willingly helping her, instead of being coerced. Oh, and she knows where we live, but isn't willing to allow us to know where she's staying, so clearly trust is a one-way street. She's condescending, she can't seem to help but throw in little remarks about how she could kill us, or pin us, or what have you, and she has the nerve to act as if this is some kind of partnership, rather than her just exploiting us.
Between the two of us, can't help but feel like _she's_ the monster, here.
Well reasoned. A monster using another monster, though if I had to guess only one of them chose to become one.

Honestly, if I were a vampire, I'd probably make it a habit to keep some things on hand so that whenever I found a willing donor, I could offer them something like orange juice and a patty melt.
The orange juice serves multiple purposes. It helps with replenishing some of the lost fluids but it's also a good source of multiple different B-vitamins. On top of that, the vitamin C will make it easier for the body to process iron.
The patty melt seems like a good idea to me since red meats are a good source of iron, as are fortified/enriched bread products. Plus, it's simple and tastes good.
I'd probably have a small handful of different food options, (like kale chips and toast with margarine instead of butter in case the person turns out to be vegan or something like that) but end up really pushing the orange juice on most people.
it's nice to see Poppy again, especially because it's my fav trope "vampire hunter x vampire" almost an enimies to lovers XD

As she described how it felt to feed, made me wonder if her character had experience and was turned then changed back to human.
If this becomes a series, I can't help but wonder if she would voice a female vampire that works at the VSCC. Maybe even the head hancho herself. I could see the listener unintentionally bumping into the head vamp capable of hypnotizing other vamps, and though she doesn't use her hypnosis, she'd be a bit suspicious which would cause listener to try avoiding the huntress for a bit since there might be a watcher for a while. Unfortunately the huntress would "bump" into us to try and find out why listener has been avoiding her, although from reaction she'd realize she messed up "bumping into" her in forment so might have to have a way to throw the tail off by actually acting like a couple and having a quick mini feeding session in an alley out of sight and/or her showing signs of being hypnotized before seperating at a train station.
Lovely job to script writer and voice actor it was amazing! I saw the notification earlier today and was so excited to listen to it!

Ha, Dorothy thinks shes slick. She (maybe, probably) has no idea that she's got a somewhat moral vampire and a British vampire hunter going after her. She's so screwed.

Not gonna lie, the interactions bettween those two are enterteining. Especially the part where our Vampire hunteress can be bouth fun and enthusiastic, yet serious and in charge when the situestion need's it.
Add the fackt that there last date didn't end on friendliest of terms, yet she's can still put her trust in her new "partner" (granted, her pather is trying to earn her trust, but I think it count's as well).
Besides the positives, my only problem is this part 12:12, aka a line repeat.
Her: "Of course I care, you stuck your neck out for me"
Me: "Yeah, and you tried to slit mine. This is some it-shay"
Hmm when she spoke of trance she sounds like she spoke from experience she might be dealing with trauma I wonder if she used her experience to try and create a deprograming therapy to help free others and a sort of self hypnosis to strengthen her mind
Poppy sounds like she has a lot of cool stories
And smart of poppy to not tell us where she lives and checking us for bugs also scoping the place out before meeting me to make sure I wasn't followed
It would also be a good idea to avoid street cameras the vampires have people in the police
Probably best to learn how to speak in code if you have to communicate while under surveillance

Ma'am, you said slowly, are you trying to tell me that was too slow?
Anyway, I'm glad Poppy made a comeback (and not just because she introduced me to this channel). However, I think she forgot who she was dealing with (either that or her trust issues run real deep). Did she really think this vampire was still gonna feed themselves after being told their only "ethical" source of food was not so ethical? Well, considering how she seems to have some major trust issues, I guess it would make sense that she wouldn't expect something like ethics to get in the way of survival.
I still feel bad for Fangs though. Considering they were willing to starve themselves after learning the truth, it makes me wonder how difficult life as a vampire was when they were first turned. Not to mention, I had the feeling they felt so much worse when they realized that their one option that was allowing them the opportunity to live a semi-normal life again wasn't as good as they thought it was.
Long explanation short, it seems both of their initial issues came together to create a not so healthy relationship, and I'm hoping these two are able to work through those issues somehow as they spend more time together (and Fangs starts working out a better way to take care of their needs that will work for them).
All in all, wonderful story so far, Wisteria! I'm excited to find out where things could go for this duo!
