I’ve always loved how he talked to people. He gets people to like and respect him just by how he talks to people. In my opinion that’s why he won. Laurel felt she connected with him more than Dom, because Wendell spent the time to get to know and talk to her unlike Dom. Real human relationship do mean something in this game.

Idk I enjoyed the dynamic with him, dim, and laurel. I think it’s poetic that it really came down to whoever laurel connected with/thought played a better game after being ignored and discredited most of the season and especially in the finale. In the end, she became the most important person in the game, single handedly deciding who gets the money.

@@jordanalford2825 Wendell has a good chance, I don't think the high profile winners will do well, unless they are smart and form an alliance (Rob, Kim, Sandra, Parvati, etc.) Wendell is a very low key winner that people can easily overlook and is strong socially.

I honestly don't get why this season has such a bad rep. It had an iconic final tribal council with two incredible players deadlocked for the win, it had a great earlier portion of the game with an epic rivalry between chris and Domenick, and the twist was actually quite enjoyable in my opinion even though most of the curses weren't reversed. Aside from a few lackluster players this season was great and I was happy with the winner
I think it’s jus cuz Dom & Wendells level of play overshadowed everyone else by a good margin. Like no-one had a chance if those 2 were in the game. Jus made it a bit predictable & boring
I wish they bring back Ghost island at least once it was a really cool idea
They edited a lot of players HORRIBLY. Chelsea was a challenge beast and orchestrated multiple blindsides as well as having a huge rivalry with Bradly, however they edited her entire story line out the season and gave her a total of 4 confessionals...

I thought the final tribal was awful. We knew it would be between Wendell and Dom but the jury just seemed bitter and I dnt think either one of them were really able to explain their games well. The season was “mid”, I wouldn’t say it was an awful season though. It started a bit slow in the beginning but got better towards the end and had some great highs. I loved the duo between Wendell and Dom and they both played great games. I can see where ppl complain about the editing but I feel like they say that for every season.

I’m glad Wendell won this season. I feel like Wendell was the complete survivor player. A very aggressive, very strategic player who was calm and collected but always had great awareness of what was going on and always staged strategically on edge. Not to mention he won 2 immunities and got exiled and still found a way to get to the end with that amazing fire making challenge. If only he could have played in the great survivor era ( seasons 13-20 )
I disagree. Wendell won 2 immunities, dom won 3. Wendell found an idol, dom had a total of 3 relics. Dom player the game harder and deserved it more

Saying he 'only won' because of Laurel almost makes it sound like a bad thing. Survivor is about getting close to people, making them want to write your name down at the end. Even if it's just one vote that puts you over the top, that's still a good win.

I’ve seen almost every single season more than three times some of them, but never watched this one because it was spoiled for me. However, this was such a great season. For me, Dom played the best game. Definitely The Godfather. A mix of Boston Rob and Rick Devens even though Rick was a later season! He can deflect blame and gaslight so well! Even with people knowing he’s the biggest threat! He was so good. He can manipulate so well. I really just like Wendell. He’s a smooth talker man. He had a really good social game and he found many advantages. I think his social game is what won him the money in the end, plus he earned the spot with making fire. He’s the good cop usually and Dom the bad cop. However, Laurel, I feel like played a much better game than the jury said or I feel people realize. The only reason people are so mad is because she had the opportunity to take one of them out and didn’t. For me, that is total strategy and makes her just as good because she did hold their games in her hands more than once. However, she knew they trusted her and she was fine. There were multiple times she put herself in a place of power to be a swing vote to then dictate the way the game would go. Also the fact that her and Donathan were able to work with Dom and Wendell under the radar was smart. She always left herself with options and when people just thought she was on the bottom, she was able to lie and make people think that when she was actually in the numbers. It was smart gameplay in my opinion. I think the only time she didn’t know something was when Kellyn pit two votes on her with her extra vote. I loved Laurel’s game play. It was just more lowkey and strategic and behind the scenes. Since Wendell and Dom were in everyone’s faces and threats since the beginning made them better players in the juries eyes. For me, I thought she played a more strategic game than Wendell. I may have voted for her. For me Dom and Laurel played the best overall games, but Wendell was also great! Honestly, I would’ve been fine with any of the final 3 winning. I’ve never said that!

One of the worst seasons ever. There's not enough people willing to make big moves to make the season interesting. The "Naviti strong" mantra took away all the joy out of Ghost Island.
Explain all of the earliest seasons of Survivor. That's how 100% of Early Survivor Seasons went.

Siege link That’s still a no. There were very low expectations back in the day so gameplay was not as diverse as the recent ones. If we’re talking about how Survivor is currently, nobody wants to watch one tribe from day 1 go all the way to the end. That’s b-o-r-i-n-g. Yeah, there were Donathan and Lauren going deep but they DIDN’T make a move on the clear front runners since the merge. Like what I said, a lot of goats, not enough real players. Hence, “one of the worst seasons” still applies.

I don’t think it was a terrible season, however I hate that dom and wendall controlled the game the entire time. They should’ve like gave someone a chance. But I’m glad that wendall won instead of dom. Wendall was nicer than dom and personally laurel didn’t have a chance next to wendall and dom. I hated dom
@@m3_mac The Wendell win was very dissapointing as he was such a bland character. I dont watch survivor for a popularity contest and Wendells win felt in the same vein as fabios. Plus the season as a whole was just dull and generally aggrivating to watch as people constantly refused to do things in their best interest and Dom and Wendell made it to the end when they really should not have.
Sloppy Dingo but wendall dom and Laurel were the final three. Laurel just really followed wendall to get there. And dom was in my opinion the brattist of them all. I thought wendall was a good guys personally
