    Haha I TOTALLY didn't spend the past 11hrs editing this video and another hour waiting for it to save. *eye twitches* But anywayyyyy I put extra effort into it and hopefully it's noticeable. Now, don't mind me. I'm just going to be unconscious for the next 5hrs. If you noticed I missed something, leave a comment of what it is! I really did try to remember everything and scrubbed through every. single. frame. Even discovered a few new things while editing it.

    But when Uzi started to actively go against Doll's plans, Doll changed her mind and just tried to kill the main characters off

    V and Lizzy could have met during episode 2,
    pitcture this: after N and Uzi leave with Thad to go deal with the J situation, V breaks free and leaves to go hunting cause she probably hasn't had any oil in a while,
    then she accidentally comes across Lizzy and Doll, at that point Doll would encourage Lizzy to become close friends with V so she could invite her to the dance, and once Lizzy gets her to stand on the X it would play out as seen in the episode.
    Meanwhile from V's perspective she could get the idea to take advantage of the situation by pretending to wanna be friends with Lizzy so she could be invited to the dance where she would then betray Lizzy and kill her and everyone else.
    We know her plan was always to get in and kill everyone based on the plan she told to N,
    "We show up fabulous, the sad purple one lets us in, cause she has no friends, we kill everyone, and pop her little head off"
    She still did the plan without him, it jus took a few more steps.
    It all boils down to Lizzy being manipulated by both Doll and V, based on her expressions and body language she knew what was gonna happen but really didn't want it to cause she actually considered V a friend, and based on how V and Lizzy act after this they've both come to terms with what they did to each other (even though it wasn't really Lizzy's fault) and are still friends even if it was built on two lies

    • @omexyl1752
      @omexyl1752 Před 6 měsíci +8

      Honestly, never saw it as Lizzy be manipulated by Doll. She seemed fully aware and in on it up until it actually happened. She was aware of the killings, missing posters, Doll's abilities, was completely fine with Doll killing Uzi, and knew beforehand that the plan was to kill V, or else she wouldn't have looked so nervous.
      I dunno what made her switch sides as abruptly as she did, but my best guess is because she actually enjoyed hanging out with V, and started getting cold feet and guilty when all the planning was finally coming to its conclusion

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +6

      The hard thing is, we're having to fill in parts of the story because we didn't get it in the series. Most likely because Liam was constrained to 8 episodes for the first season, so he put what he felt was most important. Because of that though we don't know how Lizzy and V met. We don't see how Khan would've interacted with N after E2. We don't see Uzi practicing her Solver powers before E4. In E5 Uzi had to explain to the viewers what happened that lead to them going into N's memories instead of showing us at the beginning of the episode. We don't see Uzi learning how to use her wings and tail without going Solver before E6. Some things feel rushed/missing, but I chalk it up to time constraint. Most likely we're going to get a S2, and if we do hopefully it won't feel as rushed.

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +7

      I wholeheartedly agree. Lizzy definitely wasn't being manipulated by Doll. Hell, in the first bloody episode she was disappointed that Uzi didn't die by her railgun. Then in E2 she grinned when Braiden's head caught on fire. She's not innocent. Probably why her and V got along in the first place. And yes, I also think she enjoyed hanging out with V and that's why she ended up switching sides.

    My guess is that is the real Tessa at the end of this episode. Considering what we have learned from Episode 5, it might be extremely traumatizing for a child to witness a drone she cared for go slaughter her parents and other humans. Her perspective of drones might've been forever altered since that incident.

    • @codyraugh6599
      @codyraugh6599 Před 6 měsíci +16

      Also, everyone misses it, but she has been actively combating Cyn on Earth, and Cyn has the ability to steal command authority over her Drones.
      Which adds a irony to the line from Cyn "I have backups" since that may be the approach Tessa now has, especially with J's "cloned more" line (though I'm convinced that's just J being egotistical)

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +3

      Oh, for sure it would've been traumatizing, but then I'd think she'd have distrust of all drones. Especially since Cyn was different in the beginning. I know I would. Meanwhile when she sees N there's no fear. No caution. She immediately gushes over him, which is odd considering she knows N's Murder Drone body was made by Cyn/Absolute Solver, the very one they're trying to stop. And she saw how Cyn could control all the drones, so who's to say she couldn't control N?

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +3

      In E6 Tessa specifically said that Earth had been destroyed by Cyn/Absolutely Solver and then disappeared, so how could Tessa be actively fighting Cyn there? We don't know where Tessa has been and I don't think we should trust everything she says. We know the Murder Drones were made by Cyn, not JcJenson, and she stated she had "backups" of them, so then why is it Tessa that arrives with J's clone?

    • @mythology100
      @mythology100 Před 6 měsíci +3

      @@NarujenReacts My though comes to EP 5 where CYN tells Tessa "You won't need to discard your pets, and I won't discard you."
      I feel somewhere in CYN/Solver, it still fancies Tessa since she has been taking drones from the dumpster and repurposing them; it allows her to go freely however she pleases in respect.
      There is a possibility that CYN/Solver has some sort of "control" over Tessa, or CYN/Solver sees the actions of one single human insignificant to what it has already achieved.
      We need the remaining episodes to see how this goes.

    • @codyraugh6599
      @codyraugh6599 Před 6 měsíci +2

      @@NarujenReacts because we're years into the future, and it's almost certain Earth wasn't destroyed that Night while it is certain that Tessa survived the slaughter and spent at least enough time to see the sun rise in the mansion, enough that the trauma baby was photographed in a knee hug position, she also retained her weapons, has Drone killing skills, understanding of the designs and programming of all the other Drones, and you don't need to be fighting the person directly to be fighting against someone.
      A lot of people claim to have fought Adolf Hitler, or Stalin or Mao yet never once even laid eyes on them. And we know Cyn at minimum had nine AS infected puppet drones under her command, and considering the disregard the Eliot household has towards killing Drones, from the mansion alone she likely had more in the range of thirty to sixty, and then we also see two other worlds implicated to have suffered similarly to Copper 9 or earth either having AS spread to those worlds, or have Cyn deploy HER Murder Drones to those worlds. And Cyn's orders so give a slight credence to the idea that she's utilizing the remains of earth as a staging point as the orders are to "wipe out all life and construct spires". Which then the question is more, what are the spires for? Are they transceivers, are they tether points like for the Continental plate shelves held together at the earth singularity, are they for blowing up the planet, or are they for a ritual meant to recreate the same moment when Cyn was "reborn" with Absolute Solver buried beneath a massive spire-like mound of dead drones? And a quick glance at the Copper 9 hologram will show there's a number of spires on Copper 9, which also implies there were multiple teams of Disassembly Drones launched to Copper 9, which circles back to the idea that Cyn has, effectively, an army of Drones at her disposal, which would warrant Tessa learning how to fight so she can kill Cyn's drones.
      But other question that would persist and why it's likely Tessa, or a JCJenson employee who saw footage of Cyn's massacre, made the Disassembly Drones, is why would Cyn want to hide or nearly outright remove her biomechanical upgrades (see the bio-wings and claws on Usi and flashback V) and why would she need to falsify the memories of her puppets, which Cyn didn't give a damn that N was getting killed and was the one to say "I have backups", doesn't seem like she's the type to care about preserving their mental state or playing a game of trickery, but if J, N and V were destroyed then rebuilt by Tessa (JCJenson has no reason to care about any drone, so why use pre-existing drones for a new disassembly drone line) Cyn remotely altering their mission programming and sending them to Copper 9 after Nori or Yeva stopped whatever AS was doing would then explain why N, J, and V had free will and independent thought in the first place, and why Cyn was playing the corporate charade. Which since V apparently could at least struggle against Cyn in the memory (at what is the most questionable portion of the memory as it's likely that's less of a replay of events and more a manifestation of V and N and the internal program deleting their memories) if the Disassembly Drones are Jenson made rather than Cyn made monsters, it would go to show the point of making such drones in the first place, and explain the charade Cyn's pulling as the Disassembly Drones could fight back against the control of Cyn (in theory) and would thus need her to use more underhanded tactics to subject them... Such as pretending to be JCJenson telling J that they were destroying corrupted drones and playing into her corporate stoogery.

    I do like to think that Doll was honest with wanting to help Uzi, seeing the Absolute Solver as a curse. Maybe even after seeing Tessa she would keep good on that promise (guessing she doesn’t know about what happened at the camp since she didn’t go and no one in the class knew until that got there. Even if Lizzy knew and the Teacher is her Dad, she wouldn’t tell Doll). I think seeing Uzi’s wings and tail is what changes that, she know a enough about the connection to the MD’s to know that Uzi suddenly look like one is probably a bad sign that she’s further along than Doll is and will only be a hinderance rather than an ally.
    Also there just might be a lot of resentment, she hates V obviously but, Lizzy and Uzi both siding with the MD’s had to hurt.

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I do believe she was honest in wanting to help Uzi too. When it comes to the camp episode I'd be surprised she didn't see what happened considering she was stalking Uzi and possibly N. Most of this is assumptions though. Hopefully we get answers in E7 or 8. For Lizzy, I don't think Doll actually cared. Because even after Lizzy switched sides Doll was still grinning maliciously. She didn't react at all. However, Uzi siding them definitely bothered her. Hence her question, "Uzi, you would really side with the Murder Drones?" Her and Uzi are like polar opposites. Uzi wants to work together, Doll wants to work alone. Uzi blames the humans for her mom's death rather than Murder Drones since they built them while Doll didn't care. She wanted vengeance on them. 10:06 This is also the same sequence of symbols Cyn's eyes had with each deflected item that Tessa threw at her (confirming that the ! is a ⚠/a caution symbol, like you suspected :D), and Uzi has the same sequence later on, too (we don't see it at 13:37 since the camera starts at her neck before zooming out)

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Yep! That's another one.
      ....I mayyyy or may not have just checked every scene that I remember Cyn, Uzi and Doll using their powers to double check their eyes lol. For Cyn, so far the only time we see that sequence is the one you brought up. For Doll, it's only been the scene of her witnessing her dad being killed. For Uzi, she's had the most. However, they're all in E6. E3 when she stops the bullet the shot prior to the camera zoom out does show when the Solver symbol appears and there's no X or ! before or after. For E6 it's during the scene when Uzi first tries using her powers with the magnets on her and then the other batch is as Alice forcefully cuts Uzi's finger off.

    • @Complexicon_of_a_Startist
      @Complexicon_of_a_Startist Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@NarujenReacts Ooooo excellent point with Uzi. Having done some digging (just now because of your reply, in fact, LOL), the set of symbols seems to come up very quickly due to a threat (the objects being thrown at Cyn, V killing Doll's parents, and Uzi trying to use her powers both times where the magnet's on her head) but then disappear soon after. My guess is that, because they're not trying to manipulate anything past the threat's immediate danger, the solver symbol doesn't stay present on their displays. Meanwhile Uzi, despite having stopped it in E3, continues to keep the bullet suspended, thus showing the Solver (as that happens anytime someone uses the power). One can then assume the symbols probably _did_ appear in rapid succession, we just couldn't see her face to verify it.
      I wonder if it acts as the Solver's danger response, the sudden usage of its powers almost being a surprise to it.

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +2

      That definitely could be! Or I wonder...we see those symbols on non-infected Worker Drones, so is it to show that the Worker Drones original programming is still fighting against the Solver's? Like, both programs are trying to appear in response to danger. We know we're going to get Cyn in the season finale, so it'll be interesting to see just how different she is compared to E5. The AS has had years to infect her further.

    @1:47, I'm about 90% sure the yellow reflection was purposeful unless it was how the computer rendered with atmosphere effects, because reflections are rendered automatically on those surfaces. It would have to have been a conscious thing to make those yellow from what little I've understood in my working with 3D designers and my very few hours in a 3d program.
    The yellow eyes are significant to the story with these solvers.

    • @Atomas69

And no, she wasn't being influenced by the Solver. If she was transformed like Uzi in E4, then it's possible. She wasn't though. In that case, Uzi should've been the same. Instead, she avoided stepping on the bug robot in this episode, felt bad for accidentally squashing the one in E4 with her backpack and then after snapping out of her Solver form she clearly felt guilty for killing her classmates.

This means Doll has been killing and exploring her powers for at least half a year, I think. Compared to Uzi who hasn't had her Solver activated that long and yet she's already being corrupted in E6. It's definitely not like human aging. We got confirmation of that by Liam. Pretty much how Drones maturation works is they start out as blank slates in a pill baby body, and then after learning enough, their sentience is transferred to an upgraded ("older") body. As for N calling themselves kids, it technically wouldn't be correct when Uzi has referred to herself as a teen. Well, a teen is 13-19 and considering Uzi had a calculus book, which isn't taught until 12th grade, means the youngest she could be is 17, which is not technically a kid anymore. HOWEVER, being called a kid doesn't make you one. To 50+yr old people they look at 20 year olds as kids. I was called that in my 20's.
      In the end, I brought it up because I was tired of those in the fandom claiming Nuzi is a pedo ship. It's ridiculous to me that this is such a big problem for so many in the fandom. It's a show about robots. There are many other series/movies that have WAY more problematic relationships (I've seen animes where the guy is in his mid to late 20's and the girl, despite saying she's 18, looks like she's 12. There's a BIG difference). Go be upset and complain about those. Murder Drones isn't supporting pedo relationships. If anything, Nuzi is the healthiest relationship I've seen in a series in a while. They're there for each other emotionally, they protect one another, they support each other and they have a positive effect on the other.

    Hi there, recently joined the fandom and as I am still putting the pieces together, I have a few questions. How can doll teleport? That’s my biggest question. Is it just that she’s got a better grip with her solver that allows her to do that? Has doll had any moments where she didn’t have control of herself like uzi has? In episode 5, Tessa is on the computer showing N earth(?) did cyn/ultimate solver take over it???? When j worm was killed (and the small flesh blob was stabbed) where does the little orb go??? Is that a fragment of cyn/solver? I also noticed that in episode 1, right as uzi is laughing at the end, she gets the solver. I paused a few times and noticed it said something was tampering with her. Is the solver hereditary from her mom, or did the solver randomly infect her?? I have so many questions. The lore in this is insane.

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci

      Hmm not sure if you've found the answers to any of these questions by now, but I'll take a crack at 'em.
      1. *"How can Doll teleport?"* Between the missing drone posters and how many shattered mirrors are in Doll's bathroom, it's safe to say Doll's Solver has been active way longer than Uzi's, so she's had time to practice with it.
      2. *"Has Doll had any moments where she didn't have control of herself like Uzi has?"* Not as of E6.
      3. *"In episode 5, Tessa is on the computer showing N earth(?) did cyn/ultimate solver take over it?"* That was Earth, and it was destroyed by Cyn/Absolute Solver.
      4. *"When j worm was killed (and the small flesh blob was stabbed) where does the little orb go? Is that a fragment of cyn/solver?"* The small flesh blob was J's corrupted heart. The little orb is a fragment of the Null, which is created by the Absolute Solver.
      5. *"Is the solver hereditary from her mom, or did the solver randomly infect her??* From what we know, Uzi and Doll's moms most likely gave them the Solver when they were pill babies and it was dormant until something emotionally/physically traumatic happened, activating their Solvers.

    I thought that the part where Uzi catches the knife is similar to in TF2 expiration date with a scene that works similarly to the scene in the knife fight both scenes work similarly with 2 people mainly fighting a enemy (in this case the enemy is Doll And Bread monster) and when Uzi catches the knife its similar to Miss Pauling shooting the gun both scenes use the same move and the enemy gets later finished off with a simple attack. And even if this gets revealed to be unintentional i will still remain with my theory (I have 983 hours on TF2).

    Something interesting for me about the pods
    2 of them just crashed to the ground, while Tessa’s pod landed properly, disassembly drones don’t know how to drive (like N said before)
    Now at first I thought that J had her own pod
    So I thought she drove one of the crashed ones and there is a third unknown person in the third pod (my guess for the third was either a new disassembly drone or I guessed it might be Cyn, since we don’t 100% trust Tessa yet for obvious reasons and some suspect she might be associated with Cyn, and it makes sense for Cyn not being able to drive since she is a zombie drone)
    But now that we see J comes out from the same one as Tessa, there def are more other people and prob are disassembly drones
    (Bec they are the only guess that matches with crashing the pod for now)
    Anyway love your videos so much💞
    Also in 12:47 I just noticed this and it reminded me of a scene from the season trailer we’re there 2 bodies hanging and I thought this was something in the upcoming episodes or something :> turns out it’s the same (even the same background with the basketball shoot) but just from a different perspective lol

    a personal theory i have after watching your ''things I noticed in MD'' is that Uzi's solver first appeared in ep.1 in the fight with J, and right before that she was pinned to the wall by N. this could mean that the solver is activated after someone witnesses' violence or is a victim of violence. dolls background further proves my point. but the only problem would be; why aren't N and V capable of using the solver? if they often see violence, why don't they have some sort of solver? or are they already capable of using and/or possessing one? in ep.2 N said something about how ''he prefers to not talk about it'' (this being said after Uzi asked if the absolute solver had something to do with how he regenerated his head). so maybe N&V do have a sort of solver. Could it be different since they're disassembly drones? in certain shots, we get to see N and Vs POV, in these shots as Narujen pointed out in some parts of their screen (idk what to call it) we see stuff about the solver. but there's still a few more problems... why doesn't khan have one? in ep.1 when he gives Uzi a wrench, at first i didn't know what he said but after i rewatched it he mentioned something about how he ended nori's misery with the same wrench. so why doesn't he have one? either way this is just a theory with a few flaws, hopefully we learn more about this in future episodes! • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +1

      She did have an apologetic/guilty expression as she gave Uzi the two finger salute, but it still doesn't make sense. Doll isn't dumb. When she said she'd help Uzi she saw that V and N with her and was already aware that Uzi was siding with the Murder Drones, so then why state that she'd help her? If it was determined by Uzi working with V, I think Doll would've mentioned it. Something along the lines of, "I'm sorry. I'd like to help you if I find the cure, but not if you continue siding with the Murder Drones."

      Walking around with a broken chain is rather suspicious.

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Yeah, I'm leaning that it's not a color error and was intentional. Animation glitches/errors are one thing, but Doll's eyes being YELLOW, which has such a specific meaning in this series? Highly unlikely it was an error. Liam is fully aware what details he wants to be put in for lore, foreshadowing, etc.
      Oh, for sure he does. Maybe not the moments in-between, but the major plot points I believe he does. After finding out about his SSTWL channel and checking it out that man can WRITE. For his one series he had 28 videos posted. That's a hell of a lot of writing, and he got it done in 2yrs.
      MD theorists unite! lol
      "Together" has been N's thing, but over the course of this season it's become intertwined with Uzi, which makes that hand breaking scene so sad and quite symbolic. Not to mention their hands is very much their "thing."
      ...I can't believe I missed that. I actually can't....UGH. Thank you for pointing it out. I wish we had gotten a scene to show when exactly Lizzy and V met though. Would've been funny.

    Not sure if someone said this yet, but at 1:57, to the right of Uzi is a calculus 1 notebook (Ik they addressed this in the video). This gives us a clue that Uzi is probably around 17-18 years old.

      The problem is despite N calling them kids, that technically wouldn't be correct when Uzi has referred to herself as a teen. Well, a teen is 13-19 and considering Uzi had a calculus book, which isn't taught until 12th grade, which is 17-18yrs old, so the youngest she could be is 17, which is not technically a kid anymore. HOWEVER, being called a kid doesn't make you one. To 50+yr old people they look at 20 year olds as kids. I was called that in my 20's. I personally think Uzi is 18-19, because the age of all the missing students was 18+. There's even one that's 20. That's not high school age, which leads me to believe their school is a combination of high school and college age students. And if she is 18, that's technically the legal age of an adult, but she'd still be considered a teen until she turned 20.
      I only brought it up because I got tired of people saying Nuzi is a pedo ship. I'm not trying to argue Uzi's an adult either for perverted reasons. It's just ridiculous to me that this is such a big problem for so many in the fandom.

      @pyropeenforcer2828 I did watch some of your video! Just didn't have time to watch it all since I have videos to edit and life stuff lol. With all the comments I've gotten about Uzi being underage I might honestly make a video dedicated to just that. As my final say on the matter and then be done with it. Because, as it is, we don't know their exact ages and it's silly that people are getting so upset over it.

      It could very well be. However, what I'm hoping is going to happen is there will be a total of 3 seasons. This one will end with everything looking bleak, the 2nd season will end with a glimmer of hope for the future and then the 3rd and final season will either have a happy or bittersweet ending.

      It's stuff like that when I wish this season had gotten more than 8 episodes. Because I wholeheartedly believe Liam cut the least important things out to focus on what was, one of those being showing when and how V met. So, there are multiple times where context would've been nice.

    Tbf, that was before Uzi started actively getting in her way knowing full well they didn't have the same goals. Once Uzi teamed up with Tessa, the whole group became a liability to Doll

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +1

      While that could be a justification in Doll's mind, that wouldn't be right. To leave someone dealing with the same "sickness" she has to die all because she felt Uzi would get in her way is still horrible. She could've simply spoken to Uzi and she would've found out that Uzi is trying to find answers to the same things as her. Instead, she just assumed and sentenced Uzi to death.

    • @omexyl1752
      @omexyl1752 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@NarujenReacts well, I never said she was in the right, just that she changed her mind on helping, which is why she pulled the "Just die" stunt
      Plus, before the prom fight, she makes it pretty clear that getting help from others isn't in her character. It's actually like her first response to Uzi's speech. Also, we can't pretend like Uzi is very open herself, and I don't recall her showing enough trust or belief in Doll to say that she'd think they would be a potential ally worth talking to

    • @omexyl1752
      @omexyl1752 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@NarujenReactsalso, the easiest explanation while just basing her decisions on the actions of ep 6 and not everything before it
      She bails when she realizes the groups have become a liability (in her mind, as she's a very reserved and isolated person who already doesn't like asking for help), they attack her for it, so it's clear all previous bets are off, and so the smartest move would just be to off them
      She hates the murder drones, and Tessa is no longer an ally, and was already a sketchy one at best (first thing Tessa even does after doll gives her the bug is make an attempt on her life). She may have made a "sorta" promise to help under the assumption Uzi would remain uninvolved, but that becomes heavily outweighed when she's closely associated with all the people doll doesn't like to begin with.
      Once again, not saying doll was even close to being morally correct, but her actions were logical within the constraints of her personality, and it wasn't personal towards Uzi specifically

    • @NarujenReacts
      @NarujenReacts  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Oh, no, yeah! Her actions are completely understandable when you take into account her personality and what's happened to her. What I said in this video and in reply to you was in regards to Doll's morality. Because there have been comments from people saying she's morally in the right. Then there's those who have blamed V's sacrifice on N or Uzi. Or both. Completely ignoring the fact Doll is the one who set the trap, broke the elevator and opened all the doors on the sides to let the Sentinels in.

    • @omexyl1752
      @omexyl1752 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@NarujenReacts funnily enough, Doll is responsible for the death of V and people still choose to ignore her. You'd think she'd at least be a popular character to hate, but she's rarely talked about
      Though, the only thing I had originally commented on was the fact that the video made it seem like her goals and ideals had become nonsensically skewed (with the "if that's your sense of helping, then sure" part) between the time she promised to help and ep 6, when in reality they only changed as she found reason to abandon it altogether.
      Tho I gotta admit, blaming V for her sacrifice is pretty dumb

      Liam did say in his first AMA that they didn't have any plans for Nori, but if he found a way to do it for drama or comedic reasons, he would. I feel it'll be for drama, but not for Uzi. It'll be something N finds out/remembers and he's the type of person who would feel SO guilty about it. Uzi will most likely need to reassure him that she doesn't blame him.
