agreed! It never gets old. I get chills every time I hear "Fever Dreams," and have heard it over a hundred times at least. Brilliant album!
The song "Apathy on Indiana Border" is a song that I wanted to write. It has one of the most beautiful and melancholic lyrics yet quite an upbeat melody to it. So freaking good!
On dark horses is one of the best albums in the last decade.

I think this is what I've been waiting to hear for 50 (yes, 50) years: An unaffected, feminine and unpretentious female singer backed by solid, heavy rock 'n' roll. Swampy, indelibly unlit and somehow comforting, peripherally. Strangely, I think of Lucinda Williams. I know. But, really, that's a compliment.
Kenn Love i was thinking of a mix betweel emmylou harris when she recorded with that guy whose name i cant remember now, the guy who produced neil's le noise and neil young's older stuff of course. Somehow it reminds me a lot of that deadman ost vibe. Everything she does is pure fucking magic.

Not to mention all the rising voices within other marginalized groups, it’s truly the only light in a dark tunnel I reside within, and I’m forever grateful to be a passenger on this weird fucking ride that is life, thank you Emma, thank you everyone who listens to their beautiful voices, and thank all the lost who never had a chance to be heard.

I've always loved Emma for telling very personal stories in her music. After all the pained she shared on Marked for Death, it's really uplifting to see her now tell a beautiful story about the love she and her husband share. Great song. Can't wait for the album.
