You can tell Cecily lives for sketches that she can sing in
Regardless..she is absolutely astounding even when she doesnt sing. Most snl actors are a one trick pony. Only cecily and kate can pull ot off. I think they are both amazing. I came for kate and stayed for cecily...

Best part is when Beck came in as he nailed it. I love how Cecily's character says I have some double a batteries but then they don't put them in but maybe the synthesized already had batteries. I love when Steve Carell says she was the love of my life. The lyrics are so deep and profound. Our live are short, out love is real and we do the turkey dance.

“Over the River and Through the Wood” is a Thanksgiving song, and “Jingle Bells” was written about a Thanksgiving day sleigh ride. And I’m pretty sure Garth and Kat wrote an entire album of Thanksgiving songs.

Alice’s Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie is the one true thanksgiving song. 18 minutes long. A teacher of mine in high school would bring in his guitar and perform it. It would take up half the class period. The second half usually taken up by many questions from bewildered students.
Garth and Kat's album is a modern classic for sure, but I was always particial to the traditional European-American Thanksgiving carols "Thank You for Being a Friend."
I LOVE THIS SKETCH I COULDNT HELP BUT SMILE AND CRACK UP THE WHOLE TIME 😂🤣 also the song is actually amazing and catchy. (And cecily’s amazing at singing)
