I have the exact same question. I bought it because I saw a famous guitarist I follow using it as a Looper without drums. I have zero use for the drums. I just want to build loops and layer like a basic guitar version of an rc 505. But I can't get any answers and customer service doesn't reply.
I called the official servicer and asked this question，and she said at least it need a click at begining,and then you can do the loop without drums beat
Just bought one. Missing footswitch, and unable to get any sound out of speaker. Headphones work. Just no speaker sound. Think she's goin' back. Not impressed.
