Absolutely amazing. Truly touching. From now on, this will be my favourite dessert.
The Paris-Brest by Genin is indeed perfect, just like the millefeuille. Not daring or creative, but classic and the most perfect example of what a Paris-Brest should be.
I feels like its melt in my mouth when he eat that😍
BRAVO!!!! I would love to taste this someday!!! Thank you!!!!
It's incredible watching this over and over it never gets old and what an amazing dessert by such a talented chef 😋🖤🖤
Inspiring! More Jacques Genin please.
This made me tear up
I came to this video out of the idlest of curiosities, deep into web surfing/procrastination mode, and now I know why because this little video about an absurdly rich pastry, seemingly unnecessary and indulgent, is actually profound. Wow. Not only do I need to try this pastry, but I need to change my life - this man’s story is proof that anything is possible as long as you fully commit yourself to developing skills that make other people happy and give you the satisfaction that you’ve carved out a realm in which perfection is possible. It’s about much more than pastry - but I’ll take the pastry too.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Mind Of A Chef is one long advert for.. wait for it......... butter! 😄
Great great video.
Thanks for uploading this video.
I have two books of Genin, one about Lemon, the other one about Chocolate, but this recipe, one of his most famous, isn´t available.
Could you please share Jacques Genin´s proportions of PB with us?
RESPECT
Could be movie material (his story)

Meilleur paris brest dans ma vie
their eyes do all the talking and it breaks my heart
The French don't play when it comes to their butter 🤣
3:49 he likes to give what to people?
happiness
@@PaperWolfe hmmm... not what I heard
A penis
That's the guy from arachnophobia
too much sugar on top. that's crazy! but I really like his story and i'm interested in making paris brest too.
Overpriced and overrated, this establishment has benefited too much from social media--and it doesn't deserve the attention. And shame on Parisians who give glowing reviews of this establishment--the emperor has no clothes, it is overpriced confectionery that is of low quality.
Good food is supposed to bring happiness but I felt like I was being tortured trying to finish that orgy of sugar in his chocolat chaud. It is a waste of good money. Your money is better spent on a formule at a good restaurant.
