    Part 4:
J: Speaking of the relationship with the public, of which between the theatre and the public to prevent a little bit of the principle of the emission. Like, my goal with this show is to prove to the people who in my age, the people who are between 15 and 30 years old, that the theatre is something other than what they have learned in school. It’s something else than root and moliere, and French theatre scenes is really a whole range of shows. It allows to where they can go and with which they can feel at ease. I think that Une vie sur mesure is exactly like that. I think, it’s hyper accessible and I wanted to know exactly how you, for example, you talk to your friends, how you encourage them to come to the theatre either to come to see you or be able to see in general.
A: It’s true. What you said is very true. The theatre has an image a little old. We have a really old-fashioned image of the thing. It’s not the reality at all. But my friends, in general, I would say that what is great with the theatre is we really share something, I talk a lot of sharing but it’s really that, we talk about all the worries of the life, of the world, we laugh together about the things that touch us, and then we go through a range of emotions, so strong, so intense, that is Une vie sur mesure. As well as in other shows, we can laugh at the theatre, we can cry at the theatre, we can be amazed at the theatre, we can go from the magnificent shows of many magic things even to the French theatre at this moment which opens to many different things, and the theatre is great for the youth under 26 years old. They can buy ticket with just 10 euros in the public theatre, and it’s super alive, it’s a live show. I encourage everyone to go to the theatre.
    J: Feel at ease.
    A: Exactly.
J: Thank you so much for taking time with us and speaking about the theatre. Does it still continue?
    A: Yes. It still continues.
J: Today is 28th April, and it still continues until 30th June. So all of you still have time until 30th June to watch it on Thursday or Sunday at 19h at Théâtre du Tristan Bernard.
A: Welcome all of you. And thank you so much for inviting me.
    J: With pleasure.
    A: See you soon.
J: See you soon and have a nice day. Have a nice day to all of you.

English translation for anyone wants it. It's really really long =)). You're welcome :)
    Part 1:
J: Hello everyone and welcome to the 6th interview. I welcome today with great pleasure Axel Auriant. Hello Axel.
    A: Hello.
J: Since the beginning of the month, we spoke on the channel about the scene that you are playing at this moment named Une vie sur mesure . Before talking about the show itself, we will talk a little bit about you. I would like you to present about you, especially your career as a amateur comédien which is a little bit particular. Tell me.
A: Well, I started learning drum at 6 years old until I was 16 years old. I wanted to be a professional drummer. I was doing that and I really thought that. I drew drums on my notebooks. I even drummed in weddings and weekend to earn money. When I was 12, 13 years old, I had an opportunity to go into a company called La compagnie les sales gosses which was a professional company particular in children’s composing. So I compose a piece with this company and then I moved a little away from the theatre, and at 16 years old, I met my first love. I was dumped, first heart attacked, and at that time I had a really lightning encounter with the theatre. In high school, I studied plays, I had the opportunity to play scenes, and I found that it was great to be able to put the emotions in the bunch of text and under the cover of the words of someone else, to be able to free oneself of many things. I think it was a great experience, and from there I wanted to go to the theatre. So I kept the drum as passion, but I really wanted to be an actor in theatre first and foremost. So, with Une vie sur mesure, I am very happy because it gives me the opportunity to do both. The script really makes it possible to both have the impression of being an actor in theatre, and at the same time, have the impression of being a drummer and putting all of this to tell the story. So, I am very happy.

    Part 2:
J: Can you tell us your own summary of that piece for those who haven’t seen that episode or who haven’t known it at all?
A: So, Une vie sur mesure is the story of Adrien Lepage, a young boy 17 years old who is passionate about drums, and who is autistic, who gets to open to the world with the drums. He feels alive again and shares all these moments when he grew up through the drums, be in his first encounter with his band, how it costs his first girlfriend with the drums. But it is a character who always staggered since everything is done through the rhythms, and really the only things which percussion in his head, in dance, in this autistic traits. That everything is done by sounds and rhythms. For example, he was slapping himself in class since he was disappointed because it was not in rhythm. So, it gives an overview of the character, and it’s very touching, it’s very funny, and we go through a palette of very strong emotions from laughter to tears, and this play, it’s great, because all the time we’re in the discovery, and I really like this character and his scenes.
J: So, this is a role you recently took for the festival of Avignon 2017. It must have been a sacred challenge for you to resume a role played by Cedric Chapuis for ten years. It’s still a certain notoriety. So I guess it could have been a pressure for you to take over the role. How did you play with all pressure, how did you play that role, how?
A: It is true that there were two phases. There is the first phase I was super happy. I said to my parents, we party, I took the only role on stage. I will play at Avignon. It’s true, I was very candid on the subject. I had heard about the festival of Avignon but I don’t really know what it was, and so, I was very happy. And then, the second phase, that I was always very happy but when I became aware of that, it was already playing alone on stage, and in addition to that of taking over a single stage, which has been going on for ten years with Cedric, who had notably been appointed. I was very scared to know how it was going to be perceived as less, literally, the reaction of people, and then, how was it going to happen in the collaboration with Cedric, the author, and Stephane Bach, the director. And I was immediately very reassured since the first rehearsals, we had a big discussion and they explained to me what interested them, it was especially not to make a copy paste, but on the contrary, it had to be my passion with the drums, that it had to be my story with the drums, and that all transpired in the script. So they gave me a real freedom, we had a big task and repeated each part of the script, and they made sure that each part of the text touched me and that I knew what I wanted to tell the story. So, in the choir, the collaboration was really great, the director is great, Stephane Bach, I grew up so much with him. I learned so much, it really was a wonderful meeting, since he really talks about the principle that you do not have to pretend, that you have to listen to each other every night, and finally, be in a position to listen to his condition, do not go against it, and really play with it, and have fun every night, discover it, and especially live it.

    Part 3:
J: Okay. You spoke of that freedom. Specifically, for example, did you succeed in changing the text, did you have a freedom in the interpretation of the music on the drums. Are there anything which has changed, what did they actually change, basically, between the show that was played by Chapuis and yours?
A: Already at the time of the show, Cedric is a little older. So, we arranged the dates so that it sticks to my age, and I’m right in it. The character is 17, and I was 17 in 3 years ago, so it goes back when we have the impression that in any case, that’s what I lived on the moment while Cedric was a little more on the past. And then, we took over all the songs were already present, but what is funny is those were the songs of my first group, we played Metallica, which we played drum on the mass and the parker, so, those songs with which I grew up too, but in other cases, all the pieces were already basic dance show. Where I had great freedom also on the drum solos. I know the beginning, I know the end, because it is necessary to yield to the level of tops for the lights, but what I do between I really have a huge freedom, and that’s also great to come back every night, and say to each other, what I am going to be able to play tonight. I will try this? No, it will not work, I will try something else. Every night like this what contributes to the fact that I enjoy myself so much every night. It’s because I never felt like doing the same thing. In addition to this, the script gives me a real freedom of sharing with the public musical moments, too. Since every night I rediscover the drums, I rediscover rhythms, and I’m happy to give me back with the drums alone and I can do everything with the drums.
J: Ok. And just a question to come back exactly on the fact that you were playing alone on the stage. I guess that it’s your first solo stage?
    A: Yes.
J: How do you manage this play when you’re just 20 years old? I think that you were used to playing with troops, with being in perpetual interaction with other people. How do you manage this for your first sequence?
A: It’s quite a real challenge indeed to be only one on stage. It included also a lot of work with Stephane on perception. That’s mean, how to interact with people who do not exist, and that also I think it’s great on stage alone. It is that every night I have fun to rediscover the people who interact with me. The moment for my first love arrives, I imagine the girl of my dreams, so, sometimes it’s a known actress, sometimes it’s a girl that I find very pretty. Every night I’m having fun anyway rediscovering all this and recreating an imaginary world in which I evolve. And I had a discussion again with Stephane or he said that. Actually, every night I had to rediscover the room, the wallpaper, or the hallway. And that’s the way I act alone on the stage, it’s great, it’s in the end, we evolve in a world that we devoted ourselves to, imagine. So, it’s a bit weird delirium, but it’s great. And then, honestly, especially, in this show, and be the only on scene, in general, I think we should not see it as a single in scene, we should see that as if the audiences were characters in its own, right? Because we really have to be all on this, you have to open in addition to the character and autistic. So, what I was saying is that all the outside noises intervene in his perception of the world. So, when I hear a squeak of chairs in a long time, and I play with a phone rings, I play with when a person sneeze, the same, we can play with, and so, it’s also great to be only one on scene. We choose with whom or what we want to interact, and all the things in any case it is given for ourselves. And then, in addition to the hall and the drums, and the character, too, I find myself completely, because, I don’t express myself through the text, I express myself through the drums, with the drums. And I think it’s a language, too. Finally, all that to say that the drums almost one physics in the show. It has a name called Ticket to me, and so I don’t have the impression of being alone on stage anyway.
